Trip Computer efficiency is wrong and here's my proof

Thanks for weighing in. This is definitely something I thought of, but my experience tells me it's not what's happening for a few different reasons. First, my car is in a garage and doesn't need much battery conditioning. This morning it was 67 degrees in my garage when I got in the car to...

Trip Computer efficiency is wrong and here's my proof

Where did I say I was agonizing? I'm not complaining about it, I'm pointing out that the calculation is wrong. Tons of people post comparisons about that efficiency calculation all the time so it's pertinent to know whether it's accurate or not. It also is freeing to know I'm not crazy, and that...

Trip Computer efficiency is wrong and here's my proof

I have a 2025 Air Pure with 20 inch wheels. My lifetime efficiency after 4k miles was 4.11 m/kwh but lately it's been dropping and I've struggled for weeks to have any drive get past 3.7 m/kwh. I live in the Southeast and still have most days where the temp is in the 50s-70s, and since I have...

    The whole process was seamless

I bought from Tyson's and only dealt with her on the phone due to a debacle with an inept salesman there. I believe she works out of the headquarters. I live in SC and she said she dealt with several Southeast states.

Just a fanboi, standing in front of a fangirl ;-)

    The whole process was seamless

I dealt with Naz too and she was great (after a total bozo at the Service Center nearly botched the whole sale). 5 minute phone call from her and I made my deposit. Did you buy a Gravity or an Air?

2026 Air GT Owner--am I the only person who only received one fob?

My second one was in a black case inside my glovebox. Give a look in there just to double check. If you had your car delivered to your house, you might also check under the seats in case it slid under there during transit. There's a small black Lucid box, maybe 6 inches square and a couple...

    2.8.17 update

This is great for you, and you're lucky to not have problems. For those of us dealing with now months of practically non-existent regen deceleration, we'd like the updates ASAP. I had to call support to force .16 since I never received that one either. That one at least stopped my dashboard...

    2.8.17 update

Well that's interesting because you're the first person in weeks who has confirmed being prompted for 2.8.17. A ton of us on .16 are still waiting for it

    2.8.17 update

I don't think there's been any official information. I am only making a guess.

so what's next generally for Air s/w update?

Sure, but they are widely known and reported issues. I personally don't have any problems with the key on my car. The door handles present before I reach for them 95% of the time, and only once in a blue moon do I have to stand and wait a maximum of 3 or 4 seconds. Still, knowing how much this...

so what's next generally for Air s/w update?

Personally (and if I were in a leadership position at Lucid, which I'm not), I would veto any new features or enhancements until they resolve their stability issues. Don't add more complexity to a tangled mess. With issues like the app unable to connect to the car consistently, the screens...

    2.8.17 update

I suspect Lucid is inching the Air software toward the 3.0 baseline the Gravity is on, which could be why the updates are simply described as "robustness" and also why they are seemingly causing more problems than they are fixing. My car is just over 6 months old now and has been a buggy mess...

    2.8.17 update

This is exactly my experience on .16. Drove to work one day at 2.77 m/kwh, even though my lifetime is 4.11 and the lowest I've ever gotten anywhere was around 3.25. The next day, same trip and variables was 4.76 m/kwh which was the highest I've ever gotten.

Top 10 reasons Apple should acquire Lucid

None of those reasons involve Apple getting any benefit. The car industry is saturated, particularly with Chinese entrants that are producing lower cost and in many ways better cars than American companies, not to mention tons of self-driving technology companies. Why would Apple want to get...

    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

Here's some empirical evidence from a sample size of 1. I drive a 2025 Air Pure and have had very little regen since 2.8.7. I park in a garage I live in the south, so it doesn't get that cold I leave my car plugged in all the time (level 1), and charge to 80% every night Since 2.8.7 my regen...

    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

I live in Charleston, SC and the temps were still in the 70s and 80s when this started. We still had upper 70s last week. Regen is absolutely bugged in my car. Hell, I don't even drive the car when (if) it gets cold due to the summer tires! Lol

    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

There may some impact from weather but the most likely culprit IMO, given the history of the software in this car, is an unintentional bug. It's definitely not an intentional change by Lucid.
