3000+ Mile Air Touring Winter Road trip Diary

It sounds like you don't have the Tesla CCS adapter. Is that so? For long road tripping, it seems prudent in my opinion.

    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

I too am not discounting the concern raised in this thread. But I do want to share my personal experience Teslas too withhold / reduce regen when the temps are below some predefined threshold. As recent as last night, I saw this notification on my MY about the regen when the battery was about...

    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

This goes back to the issue that we have discussed here ad nauseam and that is lack of release documentation with each release. If Lucid is making a change to regen then they should at a minimum state that in the product release notes so people are aware. If this was done to extend the battery...

Driving Air loaner while Gravity is in the shop

Isn't Toyota Corp an example of consumers rewarding high quality and minimal features? Toyota and Lexus brands mostly lag the latest and greatest features but when they do bring something into their cars, the features seem to be quite reliable.

    Tesla Supercharger first experience

    (1) Does this above mean we Air owners cannot charge on Tesla Superchargers v1 and v2? (2) V3 and V3+ will also have the 50kW charging rate limitation? (3) Once Tesla broadly installs the 800V charging stations, would we Air owners be able to charge at higher than 50kW charging rate using the...

    Tesla Supercharger first experience

Yes, this is yet another case of getting incorrect data from these LLM based data collectors. I am sure their grade of hallucinations will level off over time but we are not there yet. I stand corrected. :)

    Tesla Magic Dock

I just discovered Tesla Superchargers have a new built in adapter called Magic Dock that will allow us Air owners to charge on Tesla superchargers without bringing in our own NACS to CCS adapter. Check out this video that came up on top in my google search. Tesla Magic Dock demo video Is...

    Tesla Supercharger first experience

A quick chat with ChatGPT confirmed what @Tâm has stated. Tesla V3+ chargers are 800V architecture. Our Airs are also 800V architecture. Tesla V1 and V2 superchargers are 400V.

    Auto Unlock

We have a Tesla as well that is parked next to the Air in the garage. The Tesla locking and unlocking is 100% spot on with NO DRAMA. No motors on the mirrors buzzing while unlocking and the manual door handles (we have a MY) work beautifully. Lucid should copy and paste this from Tesla. Also...

    Tesla Supercharger first experience

Could someone remind me this 50kW limit on charging rate when using the NACS adapter on a Tesla supercharger is on all supercharger versions or a subset? I believe Tesla supercharger version 1 and 2 have a different architecture compared to V3+

    Auto Unlock

This happens to me almost anytime I am not at home. I walk up to the car. And I stand by the drivers door waiting for the door handles to extend. And I wait. And the thought occurs to me each time a bystander must be thinking I am trying to break into the car. The unlock time varies anywhere...

    Auto Unlock

What part of the door handle do you press for the car to expedite unlocking? I’ve heard from others, pressing the door handle unlocks the car. But this does not seem to work on mine. Pressing the door handle does nothing with iPhone in hand. Yes I’m only trying this on the front doors and not...

The Air console cover is manual for both open and close movements.

Introducing Lucid Tracker — A New Community Tool

Just joined as well. Not sure why most Airs are GT on the site. I would imagine the ratio of GT on the site does not reflect cars on the road. But it does provide an interesting view on the demographics on this site. :)

    Generous Trade-In Credit

So roughly you got 55% depreciation in 3 years. And 11K miles. That is in line with most lease residuals (the leases initiated in the last year or so). Currently, most leases have residuals at about 43-46% of MSRP.

What’s your air pure efficiency in kwh per mile

2026 Pure. My lifetime efficiency is 4.4 miles per kWh. This is over 1300 miles. I have 19" tires. Bigger tires are quite a bit less efficient.

    2025 Grand Touring production

I contacted Tuxmats last week about 2025+ Pure and Touring mats and they said the product release is months away. They did not have a better release date.

Any chance Lucid DD Premium in Lucid Air will get auto-steer lane keep assist

As a DD Premium Air owner, I greatly desire one feature that is currently missing: ability to auto steer within a lane without constant correction. Tesla offers this in the basic autopilot that comes with every car. What are the chances Lucid will add that feature to DD Premium?

Floormat Anchor point location for Lucid Air Touring 2026

My understanding is the anchor points were changed for the 2025 model year. If so, both 2025 and 2026 model years have anchor point and the prior year mats will not fit. If you check Tuxmat site for eg they still do not have mats to 2025+ Pure and Touring.
