    Air Version 2.9.0

I think we are the lucky stepchildren. It does look like it’s a pause and I think that’s a wise decision.

Neither. I was simply correcting myself. Some time in the last couple of months that ceased to be their tagline. Your point is that perfection is impossible and that it is unrealistic to expect that there would be. I actually agree. But that’s no reason not to aspire to it. I would imagine that...

    Air Version 2.9.0

I was just in the corporate website and I don’t see the tagline there anymore.

    Lucid’s tagline is Compromise Nothing.

    Air Version 2.9.0

I agree. Don’t feed the trolls. Just learn from the errors and make sure the next release is a trouble-free they can get it. Nothing succeeds like success.

    Air Version 2.9.0

Most, if not all of the people in this community are enthusiasts and are more knowledgeable than the average consumer. In general, we may be a bit more understanding and therefore forgiving of the situations we’re discussing on this thread. To the average consumer, an automobile is a commodity...

    Air Version 2.9.0

I have been there and done that so many times on all sides of this situation with other software and other platforms. At Apple alone, Steve Jobs would reconstitute his ashes just so that he could roll over in his grave. Hopefully the new CEO will put his foot down on standards. This is not a...

    Air Version 2.9.0

I’m gonna throw in my two cents here. Since there has been a recent history of software issues both in the Gravity and the Air that have gotten public attention, I think that Lucid could benefit from a public relations reset. There’s a motto among trial lawyers: never ask a question in court...

Lucid tracker hasn’t moved since yesterday. Rollout still on pause? More testing and validation?

And to be crystal clear, I very very much appreciate the quick response.

Not hauling them over the coals. And I certainly know that these things happen. From very, very personal experience. I also know from personal experience what it can do to reputation and Lucid has recently has problems with the Gravity that became way too famous. Nothing in this world is...

    Air Version 2.9.0

Maybe for clarification it should be called 2.9.3?

    Air Version 2.9.0

I am personally responsible for a couple of premature releases, which did not go well. I recall the sting vividly.

    Air Version 2.9.0

I agree people do make mistakes. I myself have made many. Just ask my wife. That said, Lucid has recent software errors that are way too famous. They really need to put as much extra time into testing before release as they need to make sure it’s smooth. It’s a matter of reputation at this...

    Air Version 2.9.0

Excellent advice. By the same token, I always reboot my phone, iPad, and Mac after an update. For the same reason. Even though there’s only one processor, there are subsystems and it seems to take a hard reboot to get everybody on the same page, so to speak.

    Air Version 2.9.0

Earlier in the thread, the Lucid rep said that the first wave of distribution would be Wi-Fi only and then it would open up to LTE. Apparently it’s a big download. It has yet to show up on mine. I turned on Wi-Fi specifically for this. Then I’ll turn it back off again.
