    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I use my car mainly for the school run and I can attest that I have the same confusion - UI often makes it look like the rear HVAC is on but it isn't actually on. UI aside, anecdotally I have found the rear HVAC (or more overtly the rear screen) doesn't really turn on unless the center of any...

    Front ambient lighting while driving?

I had a 2025 Audi Q5 as a loaner recently, which has a light strip in a similar wrap-around fashion at the far edge of the dashboard. The light strip in my particular car, while globally dimmable all the way to off, stayed on while driving at night (I've seen other videos where the dashboard...

    LUCID Gravity Lease vs Finance

I don’t want to rain on your parade but the $7,500 incentive is indeed taxed - hence the line item for “up-front tax” of $543.75, which against $7,500 represents your sales tax rate of 7.25%

QUESTION Optimizing total spend on Lucid Gravity lease

Your sales associate can give you this information. I would not expect a change to the money factor, if it occurs, to be immediate, as a rate change may take a couple of days or weeks to propagate down to consumer finance. Leasing programs generally follow the calendar month.

Latest working FOB software and Gravity software before taking delivery?

I did not request anything particular for delivery. As I understand it, you won't be able to login to the Lucid app until you've logged in to the vehicle. The app has worked fine for me - HVAC, air suspension height, charging, fob firmware, push notifications etc.

Favorite Gravity Feature of the Day

A bit of a stretch to call this a hardware feature but I appreciate the way a cardboard 4 drink carrier just wedges itself so snugly into the center console

Latest working FOB software and Gravity software before taking delivery?

I took delivery about a month ago on 3.3.5 when 3.3.9 had already been out for some time. It took a day or two after delivery for the update to be made available for download - I am assuming there is some sort of temporary update block put in place around delivery. The fob was delivered with the...

QUESTION Optimizing total spend on Lucid Gravity lease

Basically you are locking in a 3.7% APR return on your down payment for a 3 year term. As you've stated, you can probably do better with the investment options available to you. That alone is enough for me personally to forgo putting any money down on a lease, unless monthly cashflow is a...

QUESTION Optimizing total spend on Lucid Gravity lease

It's also worth thinking about the opportunity cost of putting more money down (e.g. locking in $115 return on $1000 over 3 years vs. investing $1000 over 3 years), along with assuming the risk of not being able to get your money back in a total loss event. Barring cash flow goals, the general...

Is it worth scheduling service for a Christmas tree?

Thank you for the advice. Customer care (I reached out via text - very happy with the responsiveness) wasn't able to see any service alerts on their end but they created a case noting that I received these errors, and advised that I reach back out if the errors return towards scheduling a...

Any tips to get Gravity to Wake Up on the app?

This mirrors my experience. The workaround that worked for me is to just turn wifi off completely in the connectivity menu in the Pilot Panel so the car uses cellular all the time. This has the side effect of live view never loading. But most everything else works. The app is always quick to...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I experienced a variation of this using the "Crack all your windows to ventilate your cabin" feature in the app. Each window went down a crack as advertised. Then I tried closing the windows using the same app function. 3 of the windows went up. Driver's side rear went down.

Is it worth scheduling service for a Christmas tree?

Having done the research prior to taking delivery, I knew what I was getting into, so no worries. Thank you to all, especially those who provided constructive advice. I popped out for lunch and all errors were cleared (DreamDrive Limited disappeared after setting off, I think the camera just...

Is it worth scheduling service for a Christmas tree?

Sitrep after an overnight deep sleep: resolved errors: regen, brake hold and rear steering new errors: high beam assist, air suspension ongoing errors: dreamdrive limited I did notice that the windshield camera arrays have condensation on the inside of the windshield glass. Since the weather...

Is it worth scheduling service for a Christmas tree?

Wrapping up week 2 of ownership with less than 250 miles on the clock. Nov 2025 build date on 3.3.9 and latest fob update. I unlocked the car this evening and was greeted by a Christmas tree of sorts (‘tis the season). Normally I use the fob for the walk-up unlock but this time I used the...

‘Upgraded cameras in GGT with very high resolution compared to Air’. ???!

I find the blind spot cameras to provide a wider FOV than I can see with a properly adjusted mirror. I can see straight behind the car as well as farther to the side, which is great. The negative is that the framerate and resolution of the blind spot feed is surprisingly bad for a 2026 car, in...

Lucid Gravity Touring - Now Available

Absolute pack size aside, I view fewer modules as progress - higher energy density, fewer points of failure. More of the battery pack's mass is doing useful work. 5.6 kwh/module in the GT vs 5.1 kwh/module in the AT.

Lucid Gravity Touring - Now Available

The GVWR will be at least 1000 lbs more than the curb weight, given the car can seat up to 7 at 150 lbs standard weight.

Lucid Gravity Touring - Now Available

Curb weight (weight of the car without anything in it) is not what is used for Section 179. The GVWR, which is curb weight plus maximum payload, is the value that is important for 179. GGT has a curb weight of 6,072 lbs and a GVWR of 7,321 lbs. About 1,250 lbs is what the GGT can carry. I would...
