    2.0.24 Software Update

It's waaaay too sensitive. I think a lot of us have turned it off. Which ultimately is not a good thing. Tough call for them. They need to maintain sensitivity. But you have to balance that against user annoyance and bypassing the system.

    Drive system fault

Ugh. So sorry to hear this. The Drive System Fault while driving appears to be a much more significant issue than the Drive System Fault I, and several others, have g while stationary/ charging. Good luck and let us know what the fix is. Hopefully they can get it done relatively quickly.

    2.0.24 Software Update

Just to pile on. My wife has waited 3 weeks for a new front bumper for her Model 3. She had a minor fender bender that requires a replacement. Fortunately, she can still drive the car. But even if she couldn't, the bumper wouldn't arrive any sooner so she'd be without a car for at least 3-4...

    2.0.24 Software Update

My request would be a complete re think of the Home Screen. That’s prime real estate and far too many of the functions on that screen are one time setup. Or things not used that frequently. For me, I’d like a Home Screen consisting of the following pulled from 3 different screens. Massage...

    Drive system fault

Thanks for sharing. Good and bad to have more data points I suppose. It hasn't happened to me again since then. Been another 700+ miles. I haven't been back to that EA station but have been to others without incident. I haven't been successful using the closer 350kw so my other EA sessions have...

2.0.15 - The MOAU - Mother Of All Updates

If your watch has cellular connectivity, it can take it a few minutes to activate that connection after it loses your phone. Once it establishes its own data connection, then it can connect to the car on its own. I also had the watch unlock the car once right after I put the phone in airplane...

    Mid sized Lucid

Understand what you’re saying with terminology. I should have been more specific. The Model 3 is 185 inches long. So a full 10 inches shorter. We also own an Audi A3 hatchback that I think was only 180. Would love to have a Model 3 sized car that still had the interior room of an E class...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

Great test. And perfect example of what we’re talking about. Let’s say the Rivian and Lucid both need 3kwh to heat the car. At 4mi/kWh, that costs the lucid 12 miles of range vs the Rivian at 2mi/kWh, only costs the Rivian 6 miles. You could ding Lucid for not taking into account their...

    Mid sized Lucid

Exactly that. So I can get my deposit back. From 2017. The latest is reservations re opened this year and it’s supposed to go into production next year. But he took down all the pricing detail so no doubt, the pricing will go up. Anyone want to take bets on whether he honors the pricing for...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

Weight is about the same. Model X is an SUV. So sits much higher than the Lucid and yes, much less aerodynamic. Penalties on EV’s are more exaggerated than on ICE cars because of their efficiency. So extra weight, aerodynamics, bigger wheels, higher speed, harder accelerations, etc. They all...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

Nice living in a moderate climate. I am looking forward to testing it in cold weather. My 230 mile range model X dropped below 100 miles of actual distance on a freezing trip once. That was bad. So I’m very curious to see how Lucid does in cold. From your experience, looks like it’s going to...

    Gravity or....

This exactly! The Rivian is a great vehicle but they have to figure out the efficiency. The larger battery is 135kwh and that only get you 315 miles of range. Besides rapidly losing the point of EV’s in the first place, from a user experience, it’s going to be worse. As @HariK pointed out...

2.0.15 - The MOAU - Mother Of All Updates

Exactly. My wife wants to be able to turn off Bluetooth and lock the phone in the car bc she doesn’t want it for the run. Then get back and be able to unlock the car with her watch. Really stunned Tesla hasn’t accommodated that yet.

2.0.15 - The MOAU - Mother Of All Updates

I've got all the options on. Background app refresh, Location always on, Notifications. I keep the app running. Thankfully it doesn't seem to be the battery drain that the Tesla app is. And all the recent iPhones have really good battery life anyway. I'm sure there will be software update and...

    Mid sized Lucid

Based on Lucid sales numbers, I think it's a large enough market. Cayenne sell perfectly well compared to Macan. Lucid is playing in a higher price category than Tesla now so I think it's fine to start at the premium price point. Exhaust those buyers before moving down. Tesla did it with the...

    2.0.18 - Highway Assist Experiences

First chance to try HA in the rain. We have moderate rain here today and it's working well. We have well marked roads and the system didn't have any trouble with the mild to moderate rain. Supposed to rain harder later today so I may try it later in that mess.

2.0.15 - The MOAU - Mother Of All Updates

It's been driving my wife nuts with her Model 3 b/c she doesn't always have her phone but she always has her watch! Just for you, I went outside to do some testing. 1. Does NOT work as a standalone bluetooth key. So won't unlock car while next to it. Not a surprise. 2. Could not pair it as a...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

Did my range tests again after the 'break in' period. Car currently at 2,500 miles on the odometer. Same stretch of road and temps still in the 60-70 degree range. First number is what I was getting at 500 miles. 2nd number is what I'm getting now. I'm now using Highway Assist while before, I...

2.0.15 - The MOAU - Mother Of All Updates

Not a big deal for me. I expect it will get better with each software update. As I said, it works about half the time as I'm walking up. And it's not a big deal for me to open the App. Still super convenient to have the phone as a key and not have to worry about a physical key. We got used to...

    Mid sized Lucid

Completely agree the entire Tesla experience went downhill after they went mass market. I'm not sure that's what Lucid is saying. Mid size doesn't mean mass market. It could just mean smaller than Air. As I just mentioned, my wife would love something the size of the Model 3 but with a luxury...
