    Target $0

What I read is that they spent $5B but got back 2/3rds of that in revenues, for a $1.4B net loss. Either way though, it's a big number.

    Target $0

Some, but they've been able to keep most of it flowing between their pipelines to the Red Sea and with help from our military that kept a lot more tankers quietly moving than was initially reported. They are down about a third in volume but they more than made up for it in higher margins...

    Target $0

Times are tighter for the Saudis, but not for that reason. Profits are actually way up (33%) for ARAMCO because the tensions have driven up the price of oil and they've still been able to get most of it shipped. It's just that they were swimming in money for so many years and they've been...

The simple satisfaction of home dryer outlet charging

The value of home charging on cheap residential rates isn't sold enough for EVs. It may be the #1 advantage of buying an EV.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

My Android Auto is doing that some now (since 3.6.3). It never used to. It was one of the few things that worked BETTER on this car than others. Never had it drop since they gave us AA months ago... until 3.6.3. Then all of sudden I was seeing occasional drops and immediate reconnects. Both...

    Starlink Mount

Update... just completed a 2500 mile road trip with the Starlink mounted in the side window at about 45 degrees as shown above. Results were positive, but not perfect. Speedtest was usually in the 45 Mbps area. Good, but still degraded from perfect. 45 is plenty for all practical needs...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Just returned from another 2500 mile road trip. Had one instance where the ACC failed with a "sensors blocked" error that stayed on for an hour. I assume it was because I was driving directly into the bright sunrise. But then when I pulled off and did the first DCFC of the day (and cleared...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Cool. Unfortunately this is another great example of the hit&miss nature of Lucid, and the Gravity in particular. There's a long list of issues that affect many, but not all. It's usually not just something that fails on one or two cars (which we'd write off as just normal, random component...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Seeing all the issues people had with Homelink, I never even bothered trying to set it up in the Gravity. Didn't need yet another software annoyance when this still works perfectly fine...

    Let rate our service center

I think these are more about how they feel about the workers and effort they put in, which is usually solid. Getting the car in, and how long the car has to sit there until they can finally get to it is often a different matter.

Is anybody successful in reaching Lucid for Annual Service

Never thought of that. Makes sense. The other difference with EVs is that friction brakes are *usually* just used for the last few MPH. That doesn't mean they don't still need to work well, of course, but if they do get weak, the risk is much lower than it is with an ICE.

Is anybody successful in reaching Lucid for Annual Service

Thanks. Pretty minimal. I replace the fob battery many times per year anyway. 😅 Always nice to have them check everything, but at this point I suspect they're HAPPY to have people not call for service appointments.

Is anybody successful in reaching Lucid for Annual Service

I'm just living with my minor annoyances (slow fob, window not always closing on the first attempt, etc). I'd like to get a replacement fob but PAAK could end up arriving before I could even get into service. What annual service needs to be done? Shouldn't be much, it's an EV. Tires are...

    Windshield replacement

I'd have preferred a solid roof too. I love a lot of things about my Gravity but the glass extending up higher than normal is not one of them. Not only does it make a windshield replacement extremely expensive and hard to get as discussed, I hate the way it lets sunlight in above the visors...

    Windshield replacement

I'd be a little surprised if anyone even makes a non-OEM for the Gravity.

    Windshield replacement

Most of my miles are highway, and Colorado is horrible for rocks kicking up (and road maintenance in general). Our previous cars have gotten hit at least a dozen times in the last decade, half of those resulting in cracks needing new windshields. But those were like $1000 windshields, not...

Owners are waiting, please do the right thing!

Pet peeve rant here. I wish people would use a pertinent title for threads that mention the actual topic. It wouldn't be that hard to just type "Right to Repair" as the subject line for this one. And it's just one of dozens of examples of clickbait titles. 😣

    Outlet power draw

Ok, now it's making more sense. Since it's plugged in it's not drawing anything from the battery. All line power. Which it why the car display is showing 0w so often... It's only drawing power when the compressor cycles on. Only remaining question is why it's not charging the battery when it's...

    Outlet power draw

Could be. The app says "DC input" which would seem like it means the entire DC input, but maybe it is just the input to the fridge itself and not what's going to charge the battery simultaneously. Edit: I just noticed the "solely battery input power" note. So that explains it. It's the unit...

    Outlet power draw

I'm on a road trip and using my new BougeRV 21qt refrigerator. It works great, but one odd thing. When plugged into either the 2nd row 120v outlet or the cargo area outlet, the car shows it drawing 153w (it's charging the fridge's onboard battery too). But the BougeRV app says it's pulling...
