    V2H Coming Soon

I'm puzzled by the "regulatory hell". Grid connected home batteries are already a thing, with multiple vendors offering them for sale. The only thing that seems different about V2H is that the car cannot be hard-wired, but instead has a plug. Not that I'm naive enough to think that...

New high performance gravity being revealed this month.Plus the cosmos info

While I expected a Sapphire Gravity launch, I can see the sense of what they've done. The engineering for the Dream was already done, so this costs them almost nothing to put into production. It gives them something to talk about. And they'll sell more of these than they would sell a $250K...

    Sneak peek at Gravity 3.6.4

I doubt they really meant all the testing was entirely manual. That's basically unheard of these days. But testing graphic UI software has it's challenges. If you're creating software for a phone, a laptop, or a web browser, there's an entire industry of companies and tooling to support...

New high performance gravity being revealed this month.Plus the cosmos info

Maybe they're going to target the country music market, and release a monster truck Gravity trim. Add in another 24" of ground clearance, and fit four tractor tires! 🤣

Unveil of cosmos or sapphire gravity?

I think the point of a halo car is less about how many they really expect to sell, and more about how much buzz and excitement it generates for the brand as a whole. To me, an off-road focused halo vehicle doesn't make sense for Lucid, because it doesn't fit their brand image. If they start...

Unveil of cosmos or sapphire gravity?

Yeah, the vibration from off road driving can be incredibly hard on a vehicle. What's really fun is being in the middle of nowhere in Mexico after having driven your jeep up a dry creek bed to get to a camping spot, and seeing a few screws fall out of the car when you exit and slam your door...

    Sneak peek at Gravity 3.6.4

I hope this is a sign that Lucid's software development team is becoming more prepared for rapidly iterating and improving their software stack. Being able to get a prominent influencer a quick fix is a good start. It takes a pretty mature testing system to be able to confidently roll out...

    Regret my purchase

To me, this is the best argument for Homelink. I don't mind having a clicker, and find it just as easy to use. But it's nice to have a little better security.

    Regret my purchase

Yeah, that should be seamless. But I think the essence of the complaint that kicked off this whole thread is that currently a lot of people are finding it challenging to talk to Lucid, and we all know that scheduling a service appointment can take a long time. I agree with @knewman: Lucid is...

New high performance gravity being revealed this month.Plus the cosmos info

I spend a certain amount of time off the grid and the pavement. I've at least seen Land Rovers and Broncos off the pavement (not commonly for Land Rovers from this century). But I have yet to see a single G Wagon driven off pavement. I'm sure someone does it, and maybe it's just that the...

    Take Care of Your Windshield!

I'm really torn about putting protection film on the windshield. My eyes are already a bit of a mess, and I don't at all like the idea of adding a little distortion from a protection film to everything else I have going on. But I also would like to avoid the headache of a windshield...

Germany - almost too late for a well-equipped 5-seat GT...

Welcome to the forum! A few of us here are 5 seat config enthusiasts, which seems to have almost been an afterthought for Lucid. I'm hoping to purchase a Gravity GT for myself next month, and while I only want 5 seats, I might end up feeling that I need to get a 7 seat configuration to get...

    V2H Coming Soon

There really isn't any current info. Lucid has teased it, but there's been nothing concrete, and no specs or realistic timeline for release. I wouldn't be surprised if there are people toiling away on V2H at Lucid, but with all the shake-up that's occurred, I wouldn't be surprised if no one is...

Unveil of cosmos or sapphire gravity?

Could be any and all of the above, except I highly doubt the more luxurious focus. Nothing about how Lucid talked about the Air Sapphire or future Sapphire vehicles was about the pinnacle of luxury.

Unveil of cosmos or sapphire gravity?

I still think that a Sapphire Gravity could be a Gravity dialed up to 11 for off-road. I think a high performance on-road version is more likely, but neither would surprise me.

Gravity UX 3.6.3 is rolling out

I'm also a fan of YouTube music. And I make heavy use of its offline downloads, so we can play music from my tablet when we're off the grid. And not having to watch ads on YouTube videos is great. Life's too short to waste time watching ads!

    Keep Mode

Yeah, going until the vehicle hits 2% charged seems like a recipe for a lot of disgruntled people. Turn it on, forget to turn it off, and then come back to the car when you may not have enough charge to make it to a charging station.

    Regret my purchase

It's a bit baffling to me that Lucid cannot get its act together and ensure that customers who want Homelink have it installed at the time they pick up their vehicle. They also have a mystifying lack of information available about it on their website. For example, if you go to the Lucid home...

    Q2 Earnings Call

I think the problem is that autonomous driving might kill you if it doesn't work well. Or to put it another way, being behind the wheel when autonomous driving goes wrong can be a scary experience. Compare that to early traction control systems, which didn't always work well, but the...
