Gravity GT - small tire 0-60mph (for squeaks and giggles)

We have similar concerns about traction in the snow, as I live up here in Tahoe City. I know that I could probably get better results by swapping rubber each spring and fall, but in recent years I've been running the CrossClimate 2 all year round. That's worked out well for me, but on a...

Is The 2027 Air Announcement Imminent?

Seems like the sensible thing to do is buy a 2026 if you can find a vehicle that has an appealing configuration, and take advantage of what will doubtless be better deals than they'll offer any time soon on a 2027.

Ionna tops for User Satisfaction. Tesla #4

I hate the whole membership discount thing with a passion. To me, it's basically saying that we don't know how to get customer loyalty by providing a superior product/service, so we're going to try to lock you in with other measures. And I'm not talking just about charging networks: my...

Ionna tops for User Satisfaction. Tesla #4

No idea what MB and Rivian's expansion plans look like, but Ionna is steadily building out locations.

Ionna tops for User Satisfaction. Tesla #4

Interesting data! I wonder how much distaste for Musk pushes down Tesla's score. The % of failed charging attempts is a bit shocking. I know JD Powers stats can be a bit weird, but can you imagine failing to fill a gas vehicle that frequently? It'd be fascinating to break down the...

Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

Yeah, I'm confident I'll enjoy driving a Gravity with no HUD. And with the current HUD features, I don't really see much point to it, since the steering wheel and display makes it easy to see all that information anyway. I don't care at all about the ambient lighting, so it's really only FOMO...

    Lucid Lemon Law

I'm confused, could you recap what happened during your Lucid ownership experience? You had to hire a lemon law attorney, but then you bought a Gravity?

Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

In an odd way, the Gravity struggles from not being more expensive. If it was a Ferrari, with Ferrari pricing, people would accept that it's a finicky vehicle. Partly because no one buys a Ferrari for their daily driver. And most people buy it purely for themselves, and don't worry whether...

Lots of Gravity inventory in Miami World Center garage.

I'd like to have the chance to drive a vehicle with the HUD, and see if I want the tech package or not. When I was test driving before, they never had a car with the HUD available. And I'm spending pretty much all of August traveling, so won't have a chance until next month to see if they can...

Lucid files suit against Eletric Vehicles

To me, the credibility of an organization rests heavily on a commitment to accuracy and truthfulness that is demonstrated by a track record of correcting when they get it wrong. Wikipedia has sometimes gotten it wrong, but they do a good job of correcting, and I've never heard of them...

    Sales Dept Unresponsive This Week

As has been noted here on multiple occasions, Lucid's staff individually all seem to be really trying to deliver a good customer experience, but the company's lack of systems and process makes it hard for them to deliver consistently.

    Sneak peek at Gravity 3.6.4

And if that reddit post was true, I'm pretty sure that Lucid would consider it a big enough deal to mention it in the release notes.

    Sales Dept Unresponsive This Week

I don't mean that they literally do not care, but rather just that they've decided to prioritize something they've decided is even more important.

    Sales Dept Unresponsive This Week

The only thing I can come up with is that they figure there's no point in improving their ability to answer the phone if they haven't improved their ability to do something productive with the phone calls. Answering the phone could be solved in a week or two. Having the capability to...

    Sneak peek at Gravity 3.6.4

I'd like to hear people here noticing HUD improvement before I believe this post.

    Sales Dept Unresponsive This Week

I do think the new management is probably genuinely working hard to improve things. But there are some baffling problems that they ought to be able to have solved in two weeks. Consistently answering the phone is a prime example. You don't even need to go through the process of hiring...

New high performance gravity being revealed this month.Plus the cosmos info

I think the value proposition of the Gravity DE is fantastic compared to the Cayenne, and the same is true of the GT-S. The Cayenne is a low volume vehicle, of course, but if Lucid steals away a few of Porche's sales, good for them.

Lucid Gravity in Service for 9+ Weeks — Can I Request Lease Payment Reimbursement?

I'd start by insistently asking them to provide an equivalent loaner vehicle. If they did that, then while perhaps not happy, I'd accept the situation.

    Where is "Throttle House"?

I get a vibe that there are reviewers who are really enthusiastic about Lucid's engineering who decided to give them some breathing space to improve the Gravity, rather than publishing a review where they'd feel obligated to talk about all the flaws.

New high performance gravity being revealed this month.Plus the cosmos info

It's entirely possible that a year ago they thought they'd release a production vehicle if the concept car got a good reception, but then the botched Gravity launch caught up with them and so their plans changed and now they're just trying to keep the company afloat until they can launch Cosmos.
