Hardware Covers / Caps for Sun Visor Delete

I feel like I'm frequently driving into the setting sun, and wouldn't want to be completely without visors. But something lightweight that snaps into place with magnets sounds great!

Cooling adaquate for pets in a 5 seater?

Yeah, I consider it a bit inexplicable that Lucid deletes the 3rd row vents on a 5 seat config.

Is anybody successful in reaching Lucid for Annual Service

I imagine that skipping annual service could be a reason to void the warranty. Hopefully Lucid wouldn't be obnoxious enough to go that far, given how hard they've made it to get service.

Cooling adaquate for pets in a 5 seater?

Thanks! I'm in Tahoe City. But I'm now spotting a Gravity driving through town pretty regularly!

Is anybody successful in reaching Lucid for Annual Service

Yes, others are reporting difficulty scheduling service, depending upon which service center. Some are more overwhelmed and some not so much. Which one do you use?

Cooling adaquate for pets in a 5 seater?

That's my understanding as well. I'm asking about how well the 5 seat models cool the cargo area for pets, and I'm also asking if a 7 seat owner can confirm if the 3rd row vents blow cold air when the 3rd row seats are down.

Cooling adaquate for pets in a 5 seater?

I'd very much appreciate a test confirming that 3rd row hvac blows cold air when the 3rd row is stowed!

    Gravity GT-S

I imagine it will depend entirely on how much demand they get. My opinion is they made the announcement primarily to get a new round of press coverage of the Gravity.

Nice overall USA EV charging status

Interesting, I wasn't aware of the standards. 3 phase power is great, but the industry does suffer from a serious over-proliferation of 3 phase types. Wye and Delta, with and without neutrals, at a whole array of voltages. I run 240v 3-phase delta without neutral in my workshop, and have to...

Cooling adaquate for pets in a 5 seater?

I'd like the car to keep the dogs cool if they're in the rear cargo area and the 2nd row is up. In my current vehicle (Toyota Highlander), I sometimes have the 2nd row up and sometimes down, depending on what/who I'm carrying. The dogs are 60 and 50 lbs, with moderate coats. I suppose the...

Cooling adaquate for pets in a 5 seater?

I'm about ready to go back to Lucid and look into buying a Gravity. I originally put in a pre-order for a GGT 5 seater last year, but backed out of accepting delivery in December because of quality concerns. I chose a 5 seat config because I never carry more than 5 humans, but I do carry a...

    Repair issues

More accurately: there are other auto manufacturers who are doing as poorly as Lucid. But it definitely is not like this throughout the industry. Plenty of companies have figured out the logistics of making repair parts available. Telling customers that they have to wait months for a...

    Frunk lid warning

I'm a bit shocked by this. Not that driving with the trunk open is possible, most cars allow that. But there's a well established reason that hoods have secondary safety catches, and ignoring well established solutions to a known safety problem is the kind of design flaw that causes a...

Owners are waiting, please do the right thing!

I 100% expect Toyota to sell me parts for my Highlander. And they do. And it results in readily available repair services from a huge array of independent mechanics. It's not just about enabling someone to wrench on their own car. If Lucid was doing a bang-up job offering rapid repairs to...

Is full self driving being developed for Gravity?

I might well pay that much if there was actually autonomous driving. But I definitely won't for a system that requires me to alertly supervise it and intervene if it tries to kill me. I think consumer vehicles will eventually offer real autonomous driving, but it appears we're still a few...

    Frunk lid warning

I view it as unsurprising that the damage isn't covered by the warranty, and I"m surprised that you thought it might be. But the lack of manual safety catch seems 100% like a design flaw. I wonder if the car has a safety interlock to keep you from driving if the frunk has been released?The...

McLean VA awful service and I am done with Lucid

Considering that the complaint is entirely consistent with what many others have reported, I see no reason to think the OP is a troll. Are they more upset than some here with Lucid's service problems? Sure. But their reaction also isn't entirely unreasonable. Many people assume great service...

Gravity grand touring interior parts falling apart

I agree with everyone else, you should be insistent that they address these issues. And it seems like work that mobile service could and should do.

Will marketing finally make a turn? Ex Hyundai executive hired by Napoli

Someone who bought a 2022 Air may well not have had highway range tests to look at, so being surprised is understandable. But I'm not willing to completely absolve the EPA for their roll in designing a test procedure that arguably confuses or misleads consumers.
