    Should I lease A 2026 Gravity Touring - base model - HELP!?

It's safe to say that engineering excellence is what attracted a lot of the people on this forum to Lucid. And if you find the quality of their engineering appealing, then it's natural to want all the extras (such as the previously mentioned dynamic handling package). And so you're going to...

    Lucid Air vs Porsche Taycan

Doesn’t Lucid claim the best efficiency numbers for the single motor Air Pure?

    New CTO

My own view is that it's risky to hire a manager as a CTO. There are plenty of executives at every company who could be tasked with operations and process. The CTO is the executive who is responsible for the technology strategy and direction of the company, and it's hard to do that well...

    New CTO

Interesting choice for CTO. I'm reading between the lines, but he seems to be more of a software and process guy than a hardware guy, and seems to be more of a manager than an inventor. Maybe that's what Lucid needs now. It seems obvious that the new CEO is bringing on lieutenants he already...

    Take Care of Your Windshield!

$15K is flat out crazy! Imagine buying a Gravity Touring and being asked to pay 18% of the entire vehicle cost just to replace the windshield! It makes me think they might want $30K to repair a minor fender bender.

Bye Lucid Air and Another Dear Lucid... Letter

Didn't realize they still had unsold Gravity DEs lurking in their inventory. Your post makes me wonder how many more are still available. I assume a very small number.

ICE emissions worse in fire smoke ?

I don't know, but I'd guess not. The incoming pollutants are a small fraction of what's produced inside the engine. The high combustion temperature and catalytic converter might actually do a decent job of running the incoming pollutants through a secondary combustion that breaks down the...

    Take Care of Your Windshield!

I like that Exoshield offers a $1000 reimbursement if you need a windshield replacement. Respect to a company that's prepared to put their money where their mouth is. I'm unaware of another windshield protection film manufacturer that's prepared to do that.

    Homelink He’ll!

Having lived with a very small garage, the beeping until you're clear of the sensor is worth the price of admission alone. Wish I'd known about this product back when I needed it.

American Specs Vs Middle East Specs

I'd assume there are a whole range of small tweaks needed to comply with local regulatory requirements. Things like the noted differences in lights are quite possibly legally required changes.

Almost no Dream Drive Pro cars available in Lucid inventory

Seeing this old thread resuscitated, I was curious and went and looked at the inventory page for the Air today. Somewhat surprisingly, it's still the case that DD Pro is hard to find on an AGT. I see just one turn up. Lots and lots of ATs, however.

The Real Elephant in the Room that Lucid is Ignoring and the Shocking Truth About What Really Threatens the Company's Future

I'm hoping for Fiat to buy Lucid after the PIF gives up, and merge Lucid's engineering strengths with Fiat's design strengths: the Topolino Sapphire: 1200 HP, rear wheel steering, but still rope doors! 🤣

Lucid (allegedely) hires AlixPartners as part of restructuring.

I think we're a long way away from anyone going to jail. I don't know which country the EV guy operates out of, but protections for journalists (even half assed ones) are pretty robust in the USA.

Lucid (allegedely) hires AlixPartners as part of restructuring.

Why do you think so? I'm not a fan of Tesla's approach to FSD. But Waymo has been proving out their approach in multiple cities with many many trips given to members of the public. There is some promise with Nuro, but have they really demonstrated their capability to the level that Waymo has...

Bricked - no one picks up support phone

That's 100% what's happening. I've given up my AAA membership because of a couple of occasions of them doing the same thing to me. Both time when they left me stranded on the side of the road, I was able to call for tow truck services directly and find one to come.

Lucid (allegedely) hires AlixPartners as part of restructuring.

Hey, I'm happy to see more members of the forum. But we do try and keep things more civil here than on most of the internet. While I can understand that skepticism of your post rubs you the wrong way, please try and respond more constructively.

    Locked out of Gravity -

I'd argue that the bug is locking while the key is inside. Any delay they could pick will be a flaw in someone's eyes. But it’s hard to imagine that anyone thinks the car should auto-lock while the key is inside.

    Locked out of Gravity -

Most owners don't participate in this forum. To me it's entirely plausible that a negative experience with the vehicle would be what prompts you to find the forum and vent your frustration. Add in that we've seen similar reports, and I see little reason to be skeptical.
