    USB Media Guidelines and Tips!

M4P is Apple's proprietary format - it's what you'd get when you bought an iTunes download during the iPod era. It's got FairPlay DRM on it, which was such a pain Apple eventually threw their hands up and stopped using it. Unless you convert them to M4A or MP3, it's almost certainly not going...

Brake and taillight didn't work for a couple hours

I had the EXACT same problem (during the day, only diagnosed it using the hazard lights), only on the Air, not Gravity. Wasn't raining though.

    2026 Lucid Air Thoughts

Honestly the Tidal app sucks on iOS too, and they seem to have created a cottage industry of websites designed to tell you "hey here is what is available in Atmos", so I do not hold Lucid to a fault on that one. Would be fantastic if they'd cozy up to Apple Music, though... It's a magnificent...

    2026 Lucid Air Thoughts

I do- everything else connectivity-wise is working splendidly. I originally had some problems waking the car up in my driveway- I had OK wi-fi and noticed the car woke up in a few seconds whenever I was out and about on a cellular connection. But I have poor cell signal at the house. Solution...

    2026 Lucid Air Thoughts

About 6 weeks with a 2026 Air Touring here, and about 2 weeks away from the service appointment I made about an hour after I got the car: Pros: It's truly a fantastic looking and driving car, and the interior is the best I've ever sat in. The seats insanely comfortable and the massage is...

    Atmos-lossless

? Tidal is still very much streaming, in lossless stereo as well as in Atmos. But not lossless Atmos- nobody does that. And the native Tidal app used to be limited to 320 kpbs, though with the 2.9 update on Air there is the option to play "up to lossless" that wasn't there before, would need...

    CCS1 Adapter

No, do not cut it off (!) and no, your port is fine- this is the insert stopper. The smallish end of the adaptor needs to be longer than a typical NACS charger so that the larger end has room to exist in the smaller charging port, and so, as it says in the manual: NOTE: The insert stopper on...

    USB music copies to car?

Looking into this it seems like the car is ingesting about 2-3 seconds of each track, probably to assist with quick start. I don't know how long it retains it for. Haven't tried seamless playback and my experience is there's a very short pause but it's not multiple seconds long. I'm on a Mac...

    Camera lag and CCCv2 question

It's a great car but even with CCCv2 built in, doesn't change for me that this critical safety feature isn't close to up to par to a 2019 mid-level car and no improvements have been made in the last five years.

2 MONTHS until the next available service appointment!

The interminable wait for service is really my only knock on Lucid right now. Took delivery of a new Air Touring, went through a lengthy checklist, and three hours later realized my GPS spun around in circles every 30 seconds and one of the speakers was blown. Next appointment two months...

Right side of the rear light bar doesn’t work

I had this happen, randomly, on the left side of my car. Was running errands, came out and got a "Brake Light" notification / call service that then immediately went away (with nowhere to go to check it had I missed it). Drove home, looked at it, figured out by putting hazards on that somehow...

    Camera lag and CCCv2 question

I have a tight driveway so it's noticeable daily - while in general I love the Air, it was/is a bit shocking how much better in resolution, frame rate, visibility and accuracy of the guides the backup camera on my 2019 Audi A6 was compared to the Air. Very disappointing and I can't imagine this...

    Camera lag and CCCv2 question

2026 here- can't say if it's an improvement from yours or not but it still has hiccups, as does the reverse camera. Not terribly laggy per se but definitely not smooth/particularly HD.

    Spinning navigation?

This happens without any navigation taking place - literally driving along at speed and then the GPS suddenly thinks the car is going the opposite direction, spins, and then immediately spins back to the correct direction. Also, an edit that this DOES happen in CarPlay nav apps as well.

    Spinning navigation?

While driving, every 30 seconds to a minute the native navigation will do a quick spin, as if it's suddenly realized it's pointing the wrong direction. It's on the right road and stays so - it just does a quick 180. This doesn't manifest on CarPlay navigation, just the native Lucid nav. This...

    E-ZPass location on the windscreen

No it's definitely on my Air (installed EZ pass last week and it's working great), but I have a 2026 so OP may not have on his 2022 if they're partial to changing out the glass.

    E-ZPass location on the windscreen

If you look very closely directly to the right of the rearview mirror there is a small ez-pass sized square of very light hash marks - that's exactly where it should go.

    USB music copies to car?

Does the Air infotainment copy music to a local drive on the car itself? I ask because I loaded an album onto a USB to test it, and when it worked for a few seconds of the first song I removed the USB... and the entire album remains available to play - I can swap songs, skip, rewind, etc.

    Considering Paint protection film (PPF)

Looking to PPF but do want to the easier clean of ceramic - do we have a favorite? Online, it seems to come down to STEK DYNOSheild vs Xpel Fusion, with STEK bringing less orange peel to the party and longer lasting hydrophobic properties, while Xpel is more widely used. Also wondering if...

    CarPlay getting weird

Yeah, in fairness to Lucid I have had wireless CarPlay on an Audi since 2019 with similar issues. Wireless CarPlay used to, may still, require a bluetooth handshake followed by a 5ghz adhoc wireless connection to the phone- and if anything interfered with the original process, it would clam up...
