I also don't think being an especially nice guy is in successful person's job descriptions. Reference my earlier post about the demise of Eric Bach in spirit of creating a "positive work environment". WTF One of the things not brought out here enough is Engineering Dept does not need to be...

I hid this survivor EV1 outside of my remote office for about 6 years before it was stolen.

Isn't that a little bit like what happened to Eric Bach? Sure, he was probably a difficult and demanding guy to work around, as many overachievers are. But the head of HR (from Ford Credit) brought in her nepotistic hire (colleague from Ford Credit) who went to war with him in the name of...

Just a quick acknowledgement to Marqie. We are being pretty self-centered about our responses, but I guess that I realize you are feeling a lot of stress and disappointment about this news; hang in there. I think we all will after the complaining is done. (Or even if Emad checks in here, just...

Well, the stock price seems to reflect most of our disappointment: $5.75 -> $4.85 in just a few hours

100%. I suck at business so that is all handled by my partner. He has no clue about the technology that I implement. But why would we ever switch roles? Surely Lucid could have found a way to keep Peter, Eric, Emad and get some good business brains on everything else.

The only thing Lucid had going for it was advanced technology. It desperately needed better organization and sale/service orientation. They are not mutually exclusive. This feels like an "ax Steve Jobs" moment to me and I share everyone's concerns. [rantMode=ON] Personally, I have a pet...

    CCCV2 vs CCCV1 - Technical specs

Go back and read his original post; that's what he incorrectly thought he was asking for: As corrected by Cheezynachos. So apparently the data he wants is a description of the ADAS hardware, as I linked to.

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

What is data worth? Vizio TVs (now owned by Walmart) data sales profited $115.8 million (compared to it’s hardware business which lost $6.7 million). Stated simply, they sell televisions at a loss just to mine consumer data.

    Lucid Gravity in the wild

Pretty sure not all Gravity Dream Editions had bears, and vice versa. To my knowledge the grizzly branding came out about a year after Air release and is an optional free request. "Ask and ye shall receive" from the Service Center. Lot of people don't care for them, but I got 'em and I like 'em!

Road trip learnings and *EMERGENCY* charge solution

All excellent reporting and advice. I kept a RV adapter in my Tesla for emergencies in case I ever needed it (did not) but also a tiny 110V plugin. I had visions of shouldering aside a Coke machine in a dire situation at some run down desert location and waiting for hours for the trickle...

    Incompatible Tesla Chargers

I hear that the Tesla Superchargers at raceways are generally available only to Tesla owners (as to the policy you noted) and are not visible on the mapping because they are not classified as publically available due to their location.

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

I do get that there is some value in knowing (and broadcasting) the locked up state. Once I had a monster off-road Jeep which I rarely locked. Arriving at a restaurant and walking inside, my ex said in a loud voice "Hey, aren't you going to lock it up?", to which I replied as I walked back...
