You may have seen some threads here where one CarPlay update was playing havoc, so it may have been both were responsible for connection issues, so it smoothed out at both were updated...

At my unit, we installed EverCharge--very happy with it. It operates via the key card as suggested above.

Pretty sure my Model Y was exactly 4. It depends upon how you drive, I suppose, but 4 was adequate for me. Personally, I am not requesting anything of other drivers, just finding my own slot and announcing my intentions. The concept of making it adjustable is a good one and should be easy...

Just as I was shopping for my Lucid, I was trading in my Tesla. I can confirm they are legit and super nice to speak with. They really wanted my low miles Model Y, and stayed in touch about my desired Lucid options. Low pressure good people.

I don't dislike the additional text, but home charging is never considered fast charging (at least with this era of technology). The single word fast is a disqualifier whether or not you know AC or DC.

I think the concept it intriguing and the price to low enough to just have one around as a second ride. There are many times throughout the year where it would have been pretty handy. I don't have the space to support owning one, but if I every have the chance I certainly would test drive...
