GT 7 Seater 22/23 vs T 5 Seater 20/21s - The Touring has stolen my heart

Correct. Both have AWD. The main difference with Touring is the size of the battery pack. 89 kWh on the Touring. Which is both its strength and its weakness. Strength because it makes the car lighter and more nimble. Weakness because it shortens the range significantly. In an ideal world...

Long Post: My Gravity Purchase Experience and Why I Lost Confidence in the Sales Process

Was this necessary? We were having a perfectly pleasant conversation here until you showed up and had to be a jerk. Think before you type.

    Software wish list

Oh, you’re right. You can’t with the Gravity. But you could with the Air. So I guess I don’t have to worry about that after all.

Dream drive pro and autonomy subscription

It looks like the plan for Cosmos is to offer a monthly subscription. I’m guessing around that time they may do the same for Gravity and Air. But that’s likely a year away.

    Software wish list

Another item I’d like to add to my wishlist: more preferences set by profile. Many of the driver preferences are saved into your individual profile. Which is great. But two that aren’t really bug me. 1. Unlock driver door only 2. Unlock on park. My wife wants the opposite of what I want...

    Software wish list

I kinda liked the power door, from an elegance perspective. But it was too slow. Gravity’s opens fast, which is good. I just worry I’ll pop it open accidentally one of these days with the app and not be able to close it.

    AR HUD

    No. That’s still an option.

Long Post: My Gravity Purchase Experience and Why I Lost Confidence in the Sales Process

My wife actually prefers the Gravity, despite her thinking the Air was too big. I know that sounds odd, but the Gravity just has better adjustments for driver position, steering wheel, etc. Visibility is slightly better. And with the dynamic handling, it even has a better turning radius than...

Long Post: My Gravity Purchase Experience and Why I Lost Confidence in the Sales Process

When I went looking through inventory for my Gravity, I found what became the car I ended up purchasing right away. And I secured it by choosing it when I put down my deposit. My SA then offered some alternatives that were close to my spec, just as a courtesy. A few were 2026 models. Some of...

Largest item you’ve fit into an Air?

I would have loved to have my Gravity back in my gigging days. Could have transported the entire band plus equipment.

    NACS Megathread

Don’t get me wrong; I’m happy to have the extra option of Supercharger locations for my Gravity. More options is always better. But it’s far from my preferred option at this point. Speeds have been generally a bit slower, and I’ve encountered more broken chargers in the last month than I was...

    NACS Megathread

Imagine that. Something from Tesla isn’t as good as it’s hyped up to be. Color me shocked.

How clean are the loaner vehicles you are provided?

Every loaner I’ve gotten from Lucid has been super clean.

    Software wish list

The bag fits in the left Air cubby perfectly, as you describe. I was a bit disappointed they didn’t redesign it to fit in the equivalent space in Gravity as well.

Out of Spec roadtrips Gravity and DDP2 has some issues

Please, for the love all that is good, can we keep this thread on topic, and not have yet another pissing contest about FSD? Seriously, it’s extremely annoying that we keep having to stop folks from hijacking every thread on a Lucid forum to make it about Tesla. Enough already. We get it. One...

Gravity CCS1-to-NACS Adapter Failure to Connect for Charging

With the CCS, I’ve found you need to connect the adapter to the cable first. Make sure it clicks. Then plug it into the car. The AC adapter seems to be fine regardless of which side I plug in first. I think the CCS snapping into place is just harder with that plug. Glad it’s working for you now.

    Sun Visor Light not working

Yeah. That would be a bigger change. So I somewhat understand that. Seems like magnets would be a super simple fix.

    Sun Visor Light not working

The magnets in the Air’s visors are just a bit too weak. They’re all like that. If you fold the cover in half as you open it, the double magnets should be strong enough to hold them up. Though sometimes I had to push down after folding to really crease it and get them to stay. Gravity...

    Lucid Air Cupholder NHTSA Complaint

Why don’t we just address the elephant in the room here? The cupholders are small because the seats are wide. You want big cup holders, you need narrower seats. Or live with one cupholder instead of two. It’s your mouth or your butt. Choose. Personally, I found the seats in the Air super...

    Lucid Air Cupholder NHTSA Complaint

The Air is Objectively one of the safest cars ever designed. Just look at photos of high-speed collisions involving Airs. How well the cabin is protected from impact. But sure. Cup holders.
