R2 envy? When will Lucid start to hype its mid size?

They got their hands full right now and have seem to really shifted to focusing on fixing software, which is IMO a good thing before you go mass market. With that said, they really should be teasing something at the very least to keep people waiting. With the segment getting so competitive and...

    No more Model S/X production

Unlike most, I do think this is a sad day and do not see much cause for celebration. We can all feel how we want about Elon and Tesla currently, but vehicle electrification would not be where it is today where it not for the Model S. While the writing has been on the wall for a while, I was...

    I just canceled my order

I was just giving my perception (hence the seems) as I'm sure others probably view the overall sentiment in the forum differently. For me, it seemed like most people were unhappy with the purchase (this also including some recency bias from browsing the Lucid threads on Facebook earlier in the...

    I just canceled my order

I completely understand this. From the outside looking in (I don't own a Lucid), it seems like current owners are unhappy and Lucid is not moving quickly enough to address the concerns. Fantastic products dampened by what seems like overestimating how much people can deal with on a new vehicle...

    Engineering Explained. This is bad.

Appreciate you sharing your personal experience. My understanding was that the Air was more solid now, so it was scary to watch someone get a brand new one and experience so many bugs. Doesn't make one feel better about the Gravity as the newer model. I do love the Gravity enough to not be...

    Engineering Explained. This is bad.

I've followed EE for a while and was excited to see him switch to a Lucid. When I saw this video drop, I was hoping he'd have more positives to add at the end. Welp, once the video ended, the tone was pretty clear about how he felt. As an outsider to Lucid, I was ready to pull the trigger on...

2026 Motor Trend SUV of the Year: the 9,000-pound Cadillac Escalade with a 205 kWh Battery pack

I can't say I fault them. We can complain all day long about efficiency, but the Cadillac gets (or surpasses) its range, which is really what matters in the end. Specially for those coming from ICE, they don't want to change their driving habits to get better efficiency. While I do not care for...

Consumer Reports 2026 Lucid Gravity Review

He has a point, but the weird rant about cars being computers at the end is what I find a bit offputting. It's okay to point out and even get frustrated with the vehicle, but then it becomes something totally different as the video concludes. It becomes less of an objective view of the fault of...

Lucid Gravity Touring - Now Available

The R1S is probably its closest comparison, as the standard starts around $76k but the one with similar range starts at $84k, but granted, the 7 seats are included. I wouldn't say the Gravity is a better "deal" comparatively, but it offers a more well rounded package for most people with much...

Lucid Gravity Touring - Now Available

I think the issue is less so wanting more power and more so of wanting more range. The touring with 20/21s is 100+ less miles than the GT. That is a huge difference. The going faster is nice, but the more range equals longer distance, less charging stops and even quicker charging times which...

Lucid Gravity Touring - Now Available

I was disappointed at first, but compared to other 3 row EVs around $80k (Model X, EX90, Rivian R1S and Cadillac Vistiq), the range is quite competitive. The more I think about it, the more I appreciate what they did here so that the Touring wouldn't completely cannibalize the GTs sales while...

Maybe time for a new thread for owners who report *no* problems, (or at least, very few)

I appreciate this thread. I'm sure I'm one of many on the sidelines waiting to pull the trigger on the Gravity and lingering here to see how current owners are feeling about it. With all the negative threads, I'm always tempted to look elsewhere and not subject myself to the same problems...

    Rivian review by CR

That's fair. The ride does leave a lot to be desired, at this point just being part of its personality. Has slightly gotten better with software updates, but the Gravity is leagues more refined across the board.

    GGT with Tech Package Deliveries

Showing 1.99% for me. If it drops any further, they will get me to impulse buy:

    GGT with Tech Package Deliveries

The wording here is kind of odd, and not exactly how it list it when you use the calculator on configurator. I guess I'm just in disbelief that BoA can't offer financing in all 50 states, or that they do, just not at the current 1.99% for the Gravity? Here is what it says on the calculator...

    GGT with Tech Package Deliveries

Really? That is surprising. Do you have know what those 10 states are by any chance? That is a real bummer if that's the case, since the rate now is 1.99%.

    Rivian review by CR

Have you driven one? I have bad news for you once Consumer Reports finishes their review of the Gravity, as they are also ready to tear it a new one. I saw a short of a guy from CR just complaining about the blank screens and not a good sign of things to come from them. Major car reviewers seem...

ADIOS LUCID: I really hate to make this post but after only two months of ownership, my '23 Lucid AT is gone.

It's less Lucid's fault and more of the EPA/industry as a whole and the gaming of the data. Why would Lucid handicap themselves by advertising a "real" range when Tesla can tout 300+ miles when in real world they are seeing close to 200s? I agree that it's not right, but I don't fault Lucid for...

    well this was embarrassing

The Gravity is virtually a perfect vehicle. On paper. It is also rather expensive. Granted, for what it is, the price is actually reasonable but at this price point you should expect basic things to work. Justifying the expense to yourself is one thing, but then justifying it to your spouse and...

    well this was embarrassing

Jesus. Ouch. The wife being pissed part is relatable. Reading about these stories makes me more and more hesitant about getting a Gravity. These cars cost way too much money for basic things like starting the car not working 1000% of the time.
