Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

It might just be the screen protector I put on the pilot panel 🤷‍♂️ Either way, I’m getting the new chip. Definitely excited about eliminating the lag time on maps and music

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

My issue isn’t just a slow processor, but often I have to press the touch screen 3 or 4 times for something to actually select (like a radio station or folding the mirrors in) Do you have those issues with the newer chip?

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

I humbly admit I was wrong 😑 The superchargers I had successfully used were outfitted with magic docks (even though I used my adapter instead) I tried it at a V3 supercharger today with no magic docks and got the same result you did Bummer 😞

    2.7.1 Software Update

I wonder if this fixes the 2.7.0 bug that causes the system to reboot so often when you get into the car. Started happening for me after 2.7.0

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

The adapter might have worked for me because the SC locations I used have magic docks too. I need to test it at a non-magic dock site. Maybe they’re not open to the Air yet

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

Hmmm that could be it. I think the ones I’ve used the Lectron adapter at might be open to everyone because of the Magic Dock (even though I didn’t use the dock; I used the adapter) I’ll have to test in at a site without magic docks and see if the adapter works there 🤔

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

And as I stated, I drive an Air Grand Touring. You don’t have to believe me, but it does work with the Lectron NACS/CCS adapter and has for at least a month

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

No, Im not talking about the magic dock. As I stated, the Lectron NACS/CCS adapter works on all V2 and V3 superchargers. I’ve used it dozens of times on my 2022 AGT — and plenty of other Lucid owners have too Or maybe I hallucinated that? 🙄 The Tesla app literally lists Lucid as one of the...

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

I’ve had full SC access on my 2022 AGT for over a month with the Lectron adapter. Tesla website clearly states that all V3 and V3.5 superchargers are now open to Lucid

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

Not true. I have a 2022 AGT and superchargers work for me with the Lectron adapter. I’ve used it at multiple locations, but again, you’re capped at basically 45-50kW. (If you don’t believe me, check the Tesla website. It clearly states lucid is now one of the brands open to SC access)

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

The functionality is already there. Tesla opened up the superchargers to Lucids earlier this year. The lectron 3rd party adapter works on them now Keep in mind: only V3 and up superchargers will work (older ones don’t have the ability to “talk” to non-Teslas) and you can only get 45kW out of...

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

If you’re in the NYC area, Plainview is taking appointments but doesn’t have the hardware in yet— so they’re making appointments for late August. For now they said it’s only at the service center, but might be offered as a mobile tech visit by then.

[RESOLVED] Heads up with iOS 26 beta 3, breaks the app

Glad to know I’m not the only one with this issue. Seems like only the app Home Screen is frozen; the widget remains connected to the car (shows when it’s charging and the accurate state of charge) and the mobile key still works I reported it to Apple feedback. I’m sure it’ll get fixed in Beta 4

    OTA Update 2.7.0

Yeah this is about every fifth time I start the car. I’ve never had this happen so often before

    OTA Update 2.7.0

Ever since I updated to 2.7.0, my AGT reboots almost every time it’s parked for awhile. When I get back in the car, the system is rebooting. Anyone else seeing this? 🤔

    Lucid UX 3.0

When I test drove the Gravity in White Plains NY on Friday, the Lucid rep told me that a “major upgrade” is coming to Air to bring it closer to UX 3.0, including a “dynamic range” setting that’s actually based on how you drive, instead of the EPA estimate that always overestimates how many miles...

    OTA Update 2.6.16

Wanted to pass along some intel I got from the Lucid rep test driving the Gravity today in NY He said they are, in fact, working on a “massive” software update to bring the Air closer to UX 3.1 capabilities. He said it may include the ability to switch the range estimator from the EPA rating to...

    Parking cameras when in traffic

Honestly, I always just turn the parking camera on manually anyway. In the rare instance that I need to know how many inches I am from the car in front of me, I can switch on that setting. Way less work than constantly switching off the cameras at traffic lights

    Parking cameras when in traffic

I’m late to this thread, but after a year of owning my 2022 GT, I figured out the way to disable this is to turn off Park Distance Warning in Settings -> DreamDrive. After I turn that setting off, the cameras don’t pop up in traffic anymore, even if I’m closer than 5 feet to the car in front of me.
