I think it depends on whether you have an ICE backup. We're entering a time now where a lot folks will be 2-ev households.

I agree with this. The classic example of when someone gets sick, and you have to start driving right away.

Does Lucid not recommend plugging in every night, regardless of SOC? Tesla advocates plugging in every night, to maintain the health of the 12v system ("A plugged in car is a happy car"). But a glowing Motor Trend article from yesterday suggested that, with a range of 420 miles, AT owners would...

Got the "VIN assigned" email today. I have the amateur DD. Anyone have the latest figures on VIN to delivery time? I'm also going to have to order snow tires from Tire Rack

I changed my configuration a few days ago from black/Santa Cruz to ZR/Tahoe. Still ssp and DD amateur.

Someone was quoted at $550 per wheel by the Chicago service center.

Post in thread '19" 20" 21" wheels sell/trade thread' https://lucidowners.com/threads/19-20-21-wheels-sell-trade-thread.3367/post-83741 About $2200 for the wheels😰

I'm also in Chicago, and ordered with 20's. Anticipating January delivery, as I'm getting the amateur DD. I'm planning on getting a set of highly-rated Vredestein 19" snow tires from Tire Rack. Lucid will sell a set of 19" wheels and install.

Wish it was that easy, haha. I'm going to go with Vredestein 19" snow tires. I saw a review on Tire Rack. Lucid will sell a set of 19" wheels

Did you catch any details of that spec? I'm wondering about implications of speed and heating/cooling. It would be great if the test was done at 70 mph and not 60 mph. And with heat or AC on.

Inside the frunk, haha. I live in Illinois, which only recently is getting away from a front plate requirement. But I drove my Model S for right years without a front plate before I read that legislators were re-thinking the rule. The rationale is that today's technology obviates the need for a...

Is that just for wheels, no tires?

Yes, I'm looking for a second set

Confirmed with 20" Aero lite. Looking for 19" wheels and snow tires for Chicago winter

If LRR is the thing holding them back from getting an official backing, I wouldn't worry. I don't think you want LRR in a snow tire. On my 2014 Model S I had LRR all-seasons, and they weren't good in snow. I started using snow tires, and they have been great. I'm going to plan on the V's, also.

I chose the 20's because it seems they are included in the cost, and look better. Then have to come up with a winter option. I know it seems like a pia

Where are you getting those wheels? Tire Rack doesn't show any wheels for the Air.

I think I'm going to go with 19" Vredestein snow tires I found on Tire Rack. But they don't have any wheel options. I wonder if Lucid will sell me a set of 19" wheels. No wheels at the online store.

Reservation: 1/2020 Order confirmation: 10/27/2022 Exterior: Infinite black Interior: Santa Cruz Options: 20" Aero lites, glass roof, dream drive amateur, surreal pro P.S. - I live in Chicago. Any suggestions to avoid driving away in January with 20" summer tires?
