Insurance recommendations ?

Just got an estimate from Travelers here in NJ for Air Touring - $1210/yr with $500 deductible. Paying $800 for a 2018 Honda with multiple car discount, etc. Was pleasantly surprised. Will probably be higher by the time the Touring gets delivered.
I have Allstate in NJ with $500 deductible for $1500/yr for GT, so think $1210/yr for Touring sounds reasonable

what is Costco connect? Never heard of it...through Costco?
Yes. In the past they used Ameriprise and recently changed to a company called connect. I recently upgraded to the Grand Touring so had to change my quote but for two Autos it was $746 for 6 months, however that is preliminary because I could not supply a VIN number and they also have to do underwriting for the lucid.

I use Costco Connect, called them to ask for a ballpark number to replace a Volvo S90, 2019, with the Lucid Air Touring around $102,000. Her quote increased my 6 mo. premium by only $100, for a total of $717 for 6 mo. I think that's great, and I hope the quote is correct. I'll find out when the time comes.
Good to hear ... I use Connect for my Insurance as well ... my Model S is ~$400/6mo.

Someone reported that Connect won't insure a car over $100k and that their underwriting was based on a Pure.

Westfield Insurance. I’m an hour from Philadelphia and they quoted me $942/yr with a $500 deductible. I do get multiple car and homeowner coverage discounts…

The lady said that they will do underwriting based on the GT price, and said nothing about 100K limit, and when I get my VIN they can start the underwriting process. If anyone has their GT, check out Costco Connect, and get the underwriting process started. Apparantly, no one has tried Costco Connect with an actual ViN.

Seeing as you will be getting your vehicle before me, it will be interesting to see what your rates will be. I’m just over the border in Riverside County. Hopefully the rates will be similar to my model S

You and @Easyrider949 exchanged a couple of posts in another insurance thread. He had a VIN and he's the one that discovered AmFam (connect) was quoting based on Pure. They were supposed to go to underwriting using his VIN but don't know what happened. @DaveyBoyGT is the one that talked about being denied due to $100K limit but he thought it might be state specific - he's in NC.

@BuddhaDada13 posted this: My insurance is through Connect (Ameriprise through Costco). My semiannual premium is $745 with an accident and several speeding tickets on record.

Any recommendations for Auto insurance ? I just got mine done here in MA with Liberty Mutual, which has insured all our vehicles for the last 15+ years and got a quote for $4000+ for the GT wiht a $1000 deductible. It was 6K with $500 deductible. And I have the highest safety rating in MA (99 SDIP). Not sure what others are seeing or if this about right. The agent did say because it's a brand new company and a brand new car that's what was causing the super high premium and that Tesla also started out very highly and has fallen dramatically now.
That's little high for what we are paying here right now, Did you opted that policy or choose different company?

Also did you find any affordable coverage?

Liberty Mutual has the worst website I've seen except for Verizon, which is entirely unusable. I've tried too many times to adjust the cars and primary drivers. Liberty wants every driver insured to be assigned to a car. In my case my 24 yo works in theater in NYC. She's home one or two days a year, for a few hours (now that she's working on a hit show), yet I had, forced, to put her as a sometimes driver on all the cars...but it gets worse. If you have three insured and three cars, Liberty requires that each insured person be assigned and PRINCIPLE driver for one of the cars. You are not permitted to be the primary driver on two cars, even if it's true. This is why I sold (yesterday) the E63 wagon, which I now desperately need. I'm down to two cars. That took two weeks to do on the Liberty Mutual website....about 8 attempts ended in total frustration. I still haven't gotten a quote for the Lucid...and I do not want to talk to them at all. I will look elsewhere.

So I'm sayin' take a look at who you have assigned to your cars as occasional drivers and primary driver. My rate went down over $3000 when the kid was no longer assigned to a car.

Thanks to everyone posting rates and companies. Even though I have car/home/umbrella with Liberty their customer relations are terrible. They have never heard of Lucid, and will not accept the VIN.

Being retired military, I have been with USAA for 50 years. Houses, cars, boats, jet skis, golf carts and investments and an umbrella policy. When I called for a quote, they asked for info and returned about an hour later with a ballpark price of $598 additional every six months with $1000 deductible. Of course, living in AZ, insurance coverage for windshield replacement is mandatory but no cost replacement is nice. I did find out with my Audi that after two replacements, the third did not have the Audi shield. I found out during research; it was the same company that made the OEM Audi windshields.
I may have to look into that Costco Connect. That sounds like a sweet package.

I am with USAA. California resident, no accidents. I took the $1000 deductible. $2724 per year.

I did. Insurance capped at $100,000, so went with Progressive. Com.
