As June 30th is near anyone else on the fence to cancel or proceed?

Can’t say I echo the comments on service. Lucid can’t provide ETAs on service and likely will have issues scaling. Also, there are perks when you have an MB dealer near you.. which is a far more likely situation.

Although they’re prudes, MB service is inherently better.
Heck! Our local Texas Service Center now adds a complimentary snack bar and coffee station. Now that’s improvement that just water. 😊

I mostly agree with this take. The MBUX may be snappier but it frankly has a lot of features (such as a million different lighting options and maybe a pumpkin or ghost animation when Halloween rolls around?) that I don’t care one bit about and will maybe use once in a lifetime unless I deliberately force myself to use them because I know they’re there.

But to each his own. Some people like the pillows and quilted stitching in the EQS. Some people prefer the Lucid Space Concept 🤷‍♂️
“Hey! Mercedes, tell me a joke!”
Blah blah blah… (pretty neat I thought)
And that pillow stitches are really fine. But my tastebuds have changed over the years visiting many countries. EQS from what I saw was a bit like Macau style of tacky-luxury catering to Chinese Nouveau riche, it is just overdone with blings blings. It hurts my eyes sometimes.

Lucid is down 54%+ and that is based on them delivering 12,000 - 14,000 cars this year. As of May I think they delivered 1117 so what are the odds they will actually deliver what they promised? The new prices are not going to help them but it did push a lot of people to confirm orders before the end of the 2nd Quarter to put those orders on the books as orders and not reservations..

All EV stocks are down! What does that have to do with vehicle price? When the stock is at an all-time high they don't cut prices. Price is based on supply and demand, price of goods to manufacture. Everyone always wants to compare to Tesla, you can't, Tesla has a 10-year advantage over everyone. Besides Telsa and Lucid are completely different in how they see the world. Tesla is minimalist, power first, do things as fast as you can at scale, faster simple scale. That's the Tesla way.

Lucid is style, luxury, and range first. Compare the cars by features and price if you want to compare. The MS Plaid vs AGT Let's talk about range then because that is the most significant price factor. MSP is 396 vs AGT 516! That's over 100 miles more range, what do you think the price of a MSP would be with a 516 mile range?

Tesla charges $11k more for 67 miles of range on the M3, you need almost double that to get to 516 mile of range. Then you are around $155k for MSP. That doesn't come with cooled seats, upgraded wheels, FSD, sound system, multiple screens, on and on. You do get better software no argument there!

Let's compare apples to Apples and what you get, forget stock price. What do you value? What do you want to spend your money on?

I am not slamming anyone, it's your money. Just think about a fair comparison MSP vs AT would be better.

Did I say the car is fun to drive even though I only drove it 7 times and about 150 total miles?

Stupid exhilarating fun! When you are happy, you oxygenate your body more and as derivative of extra health benefit.

Lucid Air is better than medicines down the road! 🏎 > 💊

They told me they can schedule me for Friday next week, so have to wait another 8 days before they can deliver it.
Congrats! 🎈🎊🎉
Finally here! 🍾 🥂

Just checked for Edmund used car sale, AGT already post up 25%~40% price higher than original price + manufacturer $7500 tax credit.
So even with Lucid ’s recent 10% price hike, it is still lower than secondary market for people who don’t want to wait.

The Plaid specced the same as a GT/GTP would be 157k. So it's right in line imo.
My neighbors just cancelled an order for a Tesla S Plaid. It was going to be ~$175k. They ended up just getting a used model S. So the Lucid is not overpriced compared to the competitors.
