Lucid Air Cupholder NHTSA Complaint

I just realized I've never used the cup holders to hold cups. I keep my sunglasses case there though, and it fits perfectly.

Not sure that’s allowed. Going to have to run that by the govt first. And wait for approvals.

Everyone knows the sunglasses case belongs in the tray behind the Pilot Panel, while the glasses themselves are stowed in an Amazon-sourced visor clip. ☝️🤓

It fits too loosely. Just a little acceleration will send the case flying up and hit you in the face, possibly injuring your eye. You will have to file a NHTSA complaint for the irony of being blinded by your sunglass case...🫣

might be able scare up one of those hang it on the door cupholders... and i'm 65 btw. and my first car was a '77 chrysler new yorker. i had a black cupholder/tissue box holder in front on the trans hump. that door cupholder? THAT was a NHTSA safety recall for sure. how many times did it fall off after going over a bump??

Had that happen with a valet before lol 😂 luckily the app worked, but they were very flustered trying to move my car.
