Plainview Service Center Nightmare

Is anyone having issues with the Plainview NY service center. I have experienced awful service since I've owned my car. There is absolutely NO communication from the time the car is dropped off until the repair is completed. I've continually have to call the service center for updates. They have had my car for over a week and I still can't get a straight answer on what is going on with the car. Very frustrating!

I can just tell you that it wasn't like that before... I guess it's suffering the same overworking and demoralizing situation other SCs are going through
 
They gave you a loaner, right? Enjoy the free ride and let them work on your car.

I'm not clear on why this situations constitutes a "nightmare" label. If they'd returned your car to you with body panels all scratched up I'd be inclined to agree with you.

Only a week…..go enjoy your loaner and no need to stress out….they will fix it when they can get to it.
 
What are owners experiencing for current wait times? My 12k service is due soon and I'd like to plan for it.
Also, I'm in CT. Having service 90 minutes away in LI is extremely inconvenient, even if they pick up the car. Lucid know they need more service centers in all their current markets, not to mention their target expansion markets. We absolutely need a service center in Fairfield county if the brand is to grow here.

Rocklin here is good I wanna say like 3-4 weeks
