I'm considering a couple of options for 20/21” winter tires on my Gravity Touring:
  • Lucid-recommended Hankook icept evo3 X winter tires
  • Michelin CrossClimate2 3PMSF all-weather tires
Both should meet my winter traction needs. I'd like to hear feedback from anyone who's run either of them on a Gravity:
  • How bad was the efficiency hit vs. the OEM tires?
  • How were the noise levels?
  • Any other significant pros or cons?
Thanks!

These are great questions...looking forward to the responses

I just ordered Vredestein Quadtrac Pro+ 3PMSF A/S for the 20/21's for ski season. We drive from sea level up to Tahoe a fair amount in winter so too early to report back but they are similar specs to the Mich CC2's. The OEM Hankooks are M/S rated but not 3PMSF so I'm not confident taking them through thick snow on such a heavy vehicle.
The Hankooks iCept evo 3x are more of a dedicated winter tire option so although they are 3PMSF rated the rubber compound won't perform as well on our drive back home at lower altitudes where the temps are often well above 40* F; thus my decision to go with a 3PMSF A/S option.

YMMV
