I just read on one of the Lucid owners forums about an Apple TV app on the iPhone or iPad AppStore that you can use with CarPlay to access/project streaming services like YouTube, Netflix etc on the pilot screen. There is very vague information about the app and description and screenshots are non English.

Has anyone tried this app yet? If it does provide this capability, that would be great to bridge the gap until Lucid enables this natively especially with the 3.0 UX. Great entertainment option like Tesla and other EVs have when you are out charging at superchargers.

I have downloaded it on my iphone. Once you have it in the phone you really don't have to open it for basic use of netflix and youtube. Just make sure that it is listed in your carplay. Once you are in your Lucid, then open carplay and touch the button that looks like a bunch of squares, you will see the APTV app, click it and touch "quick", and then "browser". Several tv apps are preloaded, including netflix and youtube. Just click on one of those and sign in to your account and start watching. If you have an IPTV account, then I suppose you can open the APTV and and download that as well.

got it...how concerned are you with signing into your streaming services (YT, Netflix, etc) with the app. Asking because there appears to be no way to know if the app is storing your info, given that the documentation is vague and not even written in English.

I don't have a subscription to youtube, so I did not sign in to it, but I did with Netflix. I think always a concern with my info being stolen. It is on the apple app store which hopefully gives some oversight, but you never know
