Why do we think this is even a lucid?Spotted this in Santa Clara, CA around noon yesterday.
Based on the tail lights, methinks it's a Cosmos.

It has a different MFG license plate three-letter identifier than the previously photographed prototype with "Lucid Cosmos" camo wrap. Assuming each manufacturer only gets one three-letter identifier, it's not a Lucid vehicle. Why do we think this is even a lucid?
Thanks, yeah it looks nothing like their design language to me.It has a different MFG license plate three-letter identifier than the previously photographed prototype with "Lucid Cosmos" camo wrap. Assuming each manufacturer only gets one three-letter identifier, it's not a Lucid vehicle.
Getting excited!
These are great, you can see the bodylines with so much clarity!
Great find! And the Volvo sedan in the back makes an excellent reference point!View attachment 41509spotted this near Newark CA
Would Lucid's designers allow a vibrant paint color like that? Whoever green lit the red color on the Air was gone by the time they did the Gravity.Hopefully something like this.View attachment 41515
They are fortunately doing just that for the Cosmos. I think the one they showed select people early this year was a bright red, and my understanding is they're looking to offer a broader color palette for the Cosmos.Would Lucid's designers allow a vibrant paint color like that? This is the most probable rendering I’ve seen, in my opinion.Hopefully something like this.View attachment 41515
Given the midsize will be appealing to a younger audience relative to Air and Gravity, I wouldn't be surprised if they would offer some more adventurous coloursWould Lucid's designers allow a vibrant paint color like that? Are you saying BMW is using AI for their designs?I’m so glad whatever Lucid reveals will undoubtedly look better than any of the AI-generated images we’ve seen so far.
It’s remarkable what these computers can do. But they really have no sense of design and proportion.
I would. They all look terrible. The last good looking BMW was the G15 8 Series. And that was even pushing it with the modern take on the hofmeister kink. The last pretty BMW was the F12/F13/F06 6 Series. Are you saying BMW is using AI for their designs?
