So, as I usually do, I park AIR0GNT at a distant parking spot in order to avoid careless door dings and the such. So why does this have to happen?

In addition to all the spots next to the truck, there’s a couple dozen empty spaces behind where I stood to take the picture.

Cos the guy knew what you were trying to achieve with your fancy schmancy car and it tickled him to mess with that in a non-illegal manner... I would have expected that more from a RAM truck owner and to see the Ford was interesting...

We were possibly separated at birth… this drives me CRAZYYYY! 😡
 
So irritating! The parking is bad but the "why" part really gets my goat.

Also this post just cost me 300 bucks. I can't see a Microcenter without going there, and I can't go there without dropping at least $300. Greatest store on earth.

Our Lucids act like magnet for other ICEs.
On another note, why so far away from the curb? Passengers?
 
I'll give you props on that personalized license plate. With that said, you're automatically going to the bad place because of it.

C'mon guys. This is obviously a proud Ford truck owner (F250?) that wanted to park next to someone who wouldn't ding their car. Of all the cars in the parking lot, the Lucid Air is the best choice. See, it's a compliment 🥰

Either that or the truck ran out of gas at the far end of the paring lot 😂😂😂

Give the truck driver the benefit of the doubt. The truck was parked very well centered, so assuming no harm intended.

Agreed. But it's still like the guy who gets on the 3/4 empty bus and sits down right next to you.

For me it's usually other EVs. A few days ago I went to the gym. Couple hours later I came out and there were 3 Teslas and a Lyriq parked nearby. I do the same sometimes. If there's other EVs I park near them. I assume we all have a similar respect for each other's vehicles. Likewise when I'm out and about with the Camaro. I'll park near other Camaros and even <gasp> Mustangs if they're cool enough.
 
From just a few mins ago....what is it with these dudes...my car in white too...

Good place for EVs in general. A Cadillac Optiq followed me in and parked even further away. There were two or three Teslas there. Surprised nobody commented on the Silverado EV that's there in the mix.

It’s because they know it’s the closest they’ll ever get to “owning” a Lucid.

Funny you should say that. A Trackhawk tried to "own" me on the way to Micro-Center. When he eventually arrived at the next red-light he rolled down the window and yelled "That's only good for 0-60". I yelled back "You keep thinking that and you'll keep getting surprised".
