Service should be able to fix it. My driver’s side rear door has this problem, as well. The other three door handles are fine, so I’m guessing this is a hardware problem and not a software problem. I’ve seen forum posts that a switch needed to be replaced.

Is your driver door the 1 out of 4 doors that is unlocking? Do you have “Unlock Driver Door Only” set?

if you call customer service they can get through to them! Customer service is usually very good.

Mis-adjusted switch?
Had a similar issue when car was new on passenger side door. Pulling the handle would make no noise at all and nothing would happen. Must have been crud on the switch, because it would open from the inside and it seems to have been solved by exercising the switch. You can exercise the switch most easily by holding the door open and just repeatedly pulling the handle until you hear the 'dah-dah' consistently every time you pull. I would then give it maybe ten more cycles. I think I only did that maybe 3 times (before my wife was around to see)and haven't had any issues in 8 months since.
Bicycleguy's suggestion above has really helped. Only had the issue once since trying it
