Whats this on the front light bar?

I'm in the SF Valley (Porter Ranch). Supposedly my Sales Agent from the Pasadena office lives within a mile from me and I have yet to see his GGT or another one in the area. We're a rare breed...we're early adopter who lives on the bleeding edge, take risks, and tolerate the pain and frustration with new tech and we believe in start ups.... lol

So the far opposite of me. 😂 Us brave few.
 
I recently had mobile service. Tech said this is a known issue and that it's a part defect with the manufacturer. He said even if I have it replaced it would still happen. Need to wait for resolution for the part itself.
 
The white spots inside the Gravity’s LED bar are not cracks or damage. They are just internal patterns from the diffuser or adhesive. Totally cosmetic, not functional. In my case, I have already had four bars replaced in a year, one even came unglued — so I can tell you it’s not “temporary.” It doesn’t go away; it only gets worse over time. Wait until the winter when the temperature swings, some of your bars will start ungluing. Definitely have Lucid document it. I think they are working on the revised version, at least that's what the service told me
 
I've got the same issue, I mentioned it to my service advisor and they said it's a known defect, will have to get it checked out next time I bring it in. Since it's purely aesthetic, can't be bothered to deal with it for now until a permanent resolution is available.

The "ungluing" explanation makes sense, I thought it was getting worse over time but wasn't sure if I was imagining it.

You will feel some low whistling noise inside the cabin when driving between 3mph and 55mph when the bar starts ungluing.
 
Mine has this as well. Delivery 3/31 and still hasn't been fixed. Frankly, unacceptable at this price point.

Oh, I do have a whistling sound (starts at 45 mph) but never thought it might be the lightbar, thought it was my slightly misaligned frunk. Thanks!
 
i have it on mine and also did see it on other gravity at their studio. I was told it is a material defect on most gravity.
