I marked this as a defect at the time the vehicle was delivered and the associate doing the walk through with me said they’ll schedule a mobile technician to come out and check it / fix it. Haven’t heard from anyone yet. Has anyone else have any similar issues with the second row seats? I’m also noticing a whistling sound in the cabin while driving which may be related to this?

I have a similar problem related to the 2nd row sliding mechanism and these pieces. Unfortunatley they are preventing the larger section of my 2nd row from moving back at all, making the 2nd row nearly unusable. The worst part is the soonest they could get me in is into next year. Hopefully you have better luck. I would minimize moving the 2nd row back and forth if at all possible until they can fix or replace these parts because it may lead to them jamming up and the same situation I'm now in (and others have been as well).

If this is that three piece plastic cover for the rails in front of the second row seats, yes, I had that. There are small plastic tabs that are supposed to snap into the frame under the seat and get dragged back across the rails when the seat goes back. The third one from the left just snapped into place when adjusted by hand. The one on the far left would not. The mobile tech determined that the left-most rail was ever so slightly bent upwards, so that the tabs would not reach the slot they were supposed to snap into. He came back for a second visit and replaced the rail, here in my driveway. i don't think plastic tabs are a great design, but it's worked very since.

Mine is sort of like this too. I have an upcoming service appointment and will let them handle it.

I had this problem too. I had it fixed when I took my Gravity into service. They also replaced my second row seats, although I didn’t really have trouble with them.

They're metal covers (unless something has changed) but the little tabs that fit the telescoping pieces together are too small. If this is not fixed, they WILL jam and then you will not be able to move your 2nd row. Make sure you get an appointment scheduled.

Was the replacement linked to the weld recall? If the gap was too large they were required to replace rather than field repair.

No this was before the weld recall. I complained about the squeaking noise, although they didn't fix it until I took it in later for the weld recall. The seat replacement actually made the squeak worst. I had to point it out to them and show how just swinging the seat belt anchor would do it.
