Gravity grand touring
Hello Everyone, I am not sure if this is the right forum but I am just curious to know if there are Gravity grand touring owners here , and what their experience has been so far , so I bought my lucid 31st of July , ever since I took delivery of it , the interior fitting/ parts keep falling apart like it was coupled in a hurry , more like a toy car ,I drove all the way to service center to complain and guess what the technician there said ? He said the screws I saw in my car might have been forgotten there by his colleague that everything is intact in the car only for me to drive 2hrs back home and another part fell out again, the screws in between my doors were rusted already after 2 days of delivery, they touched it up the day I went to the service center to complain , now another clip / cover has fallen off when I pressed the button to move the middle seats (2nd row ) foward, it’s so sad and embarrassing that for a car as expensive as this is falling apart less than a week / one month of ownership, I have had my Benz for 6years I have never experienced this type of things falling apart. Even the trim on the lucid roof has a misalignment. So please where can I Chanel this my complaints to ? When I see the adverts on instagram now it annoys me , because I am not pleased with my purchase, it seems like a scam , the car is not as good / sweet as advertised, please is there anyone experiencing this sort of issues too ? See attached some pictures of the fittings falling apart.

Wait a sec...I found this same clip on the floor of the front passenger seat after our latest camping trip
Anyone know what it is supposed to be holding in place?

It’s so annoying that the fittings are clumsy and not properly installed, I think that clip is something that holds the upholstery under the steering wheel or glove box , the car has gradually turned me to a mechanic 🤣/ investigative journalist , trying to figure things out now on my Own . My worry is if this is happening in the first month of ownership, what happens after 2 years ?

I think you did the right thing taking pictures and tracking it, if services weren't so backed up they would be able to dial in all those cosmetic things down the road if you take it in.

That quality just shouldn't be happening. I've not experienced this on mine, and I don't see others saying these issues either, so it does indeed sound like some QA has been missed on your car. Keep on them to fix these. They should be able to send a tech to manage this so you don't have to keep driving back and forth on it.

Totally unacceptable.
And after one month of ownership!? Oh no!
I've had my Gravity GT for over a year and haven't had any of those types issues.
Time to get on a first name basis with your service manager and his employees.

You should not have to keep driving back for fittings issues.
Request a mobile visit.
Definitely poor QA on your car.

Thank you I would follow up with them again

I agree with everyone else, you should be insistent that they address these issues. And it seems like work that mobile service could and should do.

That hinge is just weird it looks like a material defect, really rough looking. I’m sure they can replace it.

The other things are trim retention clips I have seen a few do this, might need to update them with a tighter clip.

Hi, @Ujuthegreat. I just sent you a DM. Let me know if I can assist you.

Ah, so I found this exact clip on the driver seat as well.

For me, it was holding up a piece of felt trim on the floor well next to the accelerator/brake pedals. The trim covered up some additional mechanics, and it was just a matter of fitting the trim piece back in place, and then using that clip to keep it in place. As I had my car in for service a week before, I had thought that they forgot a few clips (the trim piece seemed to have holes designed for 3–4 clips).
