19" Aeronaut Stealth Wheels Disappeared from Configurator

Greetings, all. I'm new here, and I hope to soon make my first Lucid order. My config isn't in current inventory (must be a red or blue AGT w/ glass canopy, stealth and DDP), so I've been playing around with red and blue and different wheels in the configurator.

Yesterday, I created and saved multiple AGT configurations, some of which included the 19" Aeronaut Stealth wheels. This morning, attempts to load a saved design with those wheels fails. No error message; instead, I simply get the screen you see when starting a new configuration, and the 19" Aeronaut Stealth wheels have disappeared from the available options.

Is this sort of thing--a reduction in options--typical for Lucid as they prepare the configurator for the next year model?

Update: I just realized that the configurator will now let me create an order, which was not the case yesterday. Zero incentives, however, regardless of ownership path.

Today seems to be the latest update with an active order portal, which revealed some changes... I was sad to see the Aeronaut wheels go too. They have not routinely reduced options, but this is a new model year and they are focusing on simplification of the ordering and options

I may compromise on my configuration and go with an in-stock 2026: Blue with Aeronaut Stealth (which looks sharp, but efficiency reduced) instead of red with Aero Range Stealth (great combo), Mojave instead of Tahoe interior, and no DDP. Will review colors again this Friday in Roswell and decide...

This makes me sad. I had already asked about changing to the aeronaut wheels. I was told you could only buy them as a wheel/tire package, so I was waiting until I needed new tires to get them. I guess I'm stuck with the only 19s.

All kidding aside, they were a nice alternative to the standard 19-inch wheels. But I'm guessing they weren't very popular. And Lucid clearly wanted to reduce the number of possible configurations moving forward. There are just way too many individual options, which is not good for efficiency in manufacturing. That's why automakers love to package entire sets of features into bundles.

Best looking wheels they offered. Have them on my 2026 Pure. Can’t understand why they’re dropping them. Last time I looked at Lucid’s homepage, pictures of the Air had these wheels on them. Weird if you can’t buy them.

Agreed. I think the wheels are really sharp. But to your point, dropping them may have been related to their popularity and of course the desire to simplify configurations.
