All depends on how you count it. I get real world 330 miles, give or take a few. Your basic low 3’s miles/kW
I can get a bit higher but I’d be giving up the shoes I’ve got. So maybe next new set, their claim does say squat as we don’t know which orifice that number came from.

My Air GT gives 2.9 to 3.1 m/kw this is not even highway driving. So my range is 300 to 330.

There was a time I considered waiting for this car to debut.
I love the ICE version of the GV-80 and if I hadn't made the conversion to electric, I'd probably be driving one today.
I was hopeful the GV-80 e-version would look similar to the ICE version. Nope.

Genesis makes some good car and this GV-90 should do well.
Rule #1 for me before anything else: I gotta at least like the way the car looks before I go further.
I like the Ioniq 9 more than this and I don't particularly like the Ioniq 9.

As for range, I'm getting 350.
I'm good with that.

So glad I chose my Gravity and didn't wait on this.
I'd be pretty pissed at myself right about now.
Instead, I'm in year two of driving one awesome car that still has no true competitors, in my book.

Our first EV was a Genesis GV-70. It is a very nice car. Materials, fit, finish and workmanship are outstanding for the price. The ride is quiet and comfortable. It charges fast; of course a 77kW battery charges a lot faster than a 123 kW battery. The only problem for us was needing more seats and greater range. The GV-80 is even nicer but alas, not an EV. We thought the soon to be released GV-90 EV would be the answer to our needs. The many delays in announcing it and the ultra luxury vibe their statements radiated caused us to look around at the market for alternatives. Everyone here knows the rest of the story. There is only 1 SUV that checks all the boxes so we leased a Gravity in April.

still a Hyundai and therefore have a 10% chance of an ICCU2 failure
reason why we went with the Lyriq for my wife's car

I love Genesis as a brand and their interiors are some of the best (if not the best) in the game. But who is this for?

Is there a market for a $100k+, 300 mile ish electric SUV from a non-German brand? This has to convince a lot of people, and I'm not sure it get there.

Looks are fine but just looks like a bigger GV80, and not in a way that makes sense.

This car makes a great case for the Gravity (and honestly, even the Escalade IQ). At either expected price point, I'd rather a Gravity or the Escalade.

Shame, I was excited for this. IMO they would have been better off offering a true EV equivalent for the GV80 and GV70 and price it under $80k. But oh well, I hope it does well so we can continue to see better electrification efforts from the Korean brands but not feeling overly optimistic.

Agreement on the "true EV equivalent for the GV80 and GV70.
I looked at the Electrified GV70; too small, lacked a trunk, and didn't like to absence of an actual ev platform vs. an electrified version.
If they had planned for that true EV equivalent for the GV80, I might have waited ... a little.
The GV80 is a beautiful car! Nice interior and features.
A smaller GV80 ev probably would have been closer to the Gravity GT in range.

My 2023 Touring is getting 3.84 over the first 2685 miles of ownership. 83.9 kWh usable of 92 kWh rated. 322 range. Data courtesy of LucidTracker+

I mean it’s better than the R2 only getting 258 miles in the out of spec test

It must be extremely heavy. Why else would it get so little range with that size battery?

The R2 is like half the price lol and comparing to the Air...well, Lucid does not have the best record of getting anything near their claims.

It is painfully unaerodynamic (definitely not a word). I'd imagine that is likely the issue there.
