I went to two focus groups for this vehicle. Looks the same as what I saw. Pretty surprised at the relatively low range. The coach doors looked pretty complicated and potentially difficult to exit if parked close to another vehicle
Same, my Touring is 3.0-3.1My Air GT gives 2.9 to 3.1 m/kw this is not even highway driving. So my range is 300 to 330.

Lucid doesIs there a market for a $100k+, 300 mile ish electric SUV from a non-German brand? This has to convince a lot of people, and I'm not sure it get there.
The GT does over 400 miles and just shy of $100k. This is a way better sell IMOLucid does![]()
Agreement on the "true EV equivalent for the GV80 and GV70.I love Genesis as a brand and their interiors are some of the best (if not the best) in the game. But who is this for?

Looks are fine but just looks like a bigger GV80, and not in a way that makes sense.
This car makes a great case for the Gravity (and honestly, even the Escalade IQ). At either expected price point, I'd rather a Gravity or the Escalade.
Shame, I was excited for this. IMO they would have been better off offering a true EV equivalent for the GV80 and GV70 and price it under $80k. But oh well, I hope it does well so we can continue to see better electrification efforts from the Korean brands but not feeling overly optimistic.
It gets in the 3s according to most tests, but the Hyundai also probably gets in the 2s in real life. The GT does over 400 miles and just shy of $100k. This is a way better sell IMO
Mine does over 400... in my dreams. Goes back to 330 or so when I wake upThe GT does over 400 miles and just shy of $100k. This is a way better sell IMO
The R2 is like half the price lol and comparing to the Air...well, Lucid does not have the best record of getting anything near their claims.I mean it’s better than the R2 only getting 258 miles in the out of spec test
It is painfully unaerodynamic (definitely not a word). I'd imagine that is likely the issue there. It must be extremely heavy. Why else would it get so little range with that size battery?
