Sneak peek at Gravity 3.6.4

Still don’t have 3.6.4 on either gravity
The last one also started being reported received by some here on a Thursday, and I got it the following Monday night, so I'm guessing this will be similar.

(Not counting when Kyle tweeted about it, as I assume he got special treatment.)

What about being able to raise and lower the car via the app?? This would be useful too.

The app can already do this. Pull down on the controls on the top tile. You can also rearrange them if you wish.
I use this all the time to lower the car for washing.

Release notes per Kyle's post (although I'd be curious to see if there's more than just what's on that screen)...
There are not. I already got the update and these are the full notes:

My Gravity is in service right now so I haven't driven it with the update yet. I wasn't having any monitoring issues that I'm aware of though, hands-free was working fine for me.

My Gravity is working fine after the 3.6.4 update. As it was before the update.

Sad that that needs to be confirmed, but it does.
I haven't experienced any regressions with Gravity's software.
Hoping your outlook improves after finding the solution to your fob entry problem.

App has been able to do this properly for a long time now. I've used it plenty of times.

So. I had been stuck on 3.6.0 after 3.6.3 failed to successfully update when it was first pushed to me over a week ago. This morning I got 3.6.3 re-pushed and updated that, then immediately after got 3.6.4. pushed and successfully updated as well. Both were done remotely with the car unplugged and with carseats in the back, one with latch and one with the seatbelt (only mentioning the carseats bc some people had earlier updates failed possibly related to this). Unfortunately, I just left yesterday for a week so can't try out this new update until then. I was one of those with the driver awareness bug that seems to have been fixed here so looking forward to trying that out. I'm also now finished with all 5 of my long road trips for the summer and really wished I had working hands-free for all those. No more long road trips planned anytime soon but I'll have to find a reason for another one.

I'd like to hear people here noticing HUD improvement before I believe this post.
The HUD got some stability improvements in 3.6.0. Nothing has changed since then.

I don’t have 3.6.4 yet. Is that strange ?
Very normal. It'll likely take a couple of weeks to roll out to most of the fleet. Same as any other OTA release.

I don't have it yet either. It can take a while. Thankfully I don't need this update, so I'm happy to let others get it first. Also, they don't push updates out on weekends anymore

I don't know that this is true. It keeps getting repeated even though Lucid didn't say this and then people have been getting updates on the weekend still.

So it did? My partner turned off the HUD in mid-July, and I hadn’t bothered to turn it back on until 3.6.4

I thought I was imagining it but there seems to be some marginal improvement in the graphics, as in I get a headache looking at them later rather than sooner. There’s still a lot of room for improvement. Also when in “P” and at first power up, there’s now a Lucid “sunburst”-thingy at eye level. It’s huge!!! Was that sunburst there before and I just never noticed?

Other things I’ve been thinking about with the HUD. When I wear my non-polarised sunglasses, the HUD graphics fade to dark to almost invisible.

Another thing is, I had PPF applied on the outside of the windscreen. A first for any of my cars because up until a few years ago no PPF installer was willing to apply it to a front windshield. But I have PPF on my front windshield now. I don’t notice any distortion just looking out through the windscreen, or at least I’ve learned to take no notice. Could the PPF be contributing to the mildly blurry graphics and my eye-ache/headache?
