Auto lock unlock and Garage Opener

I’ve had some issues with homelink. It works about 10% of the time. The bigger concern is there’s times where it doesn’t work so I eventually pull out my phone and open the garage through the app. I go inside, garage closes, etc… minutes later the car unlocks because the key is within range and the garage door opens. It’s almost like the command is delayed on the car side and fires again when the car wakes up. It’s happened 3 times. Thought the first two were flukes. Definitely wakes you up a little when you hear the garage door opening when your alone haha.

OK, I'm boring and repetitive, but mine works fine. No surprises.
mine works fine most of the time, but I have 2 separate doors and sometimes the UI flips the buttons and it opens the wrong door. maybe just a timing issue where the ui has updated before the associated function hasn't been updated yet. IDK

It's surprising to me how many app and product UX feature a button that moves or changes function the instant before your finger strikes it.
yeah, why it thinks it should flip the buttons, IDK. maybe backing in vs pullin in forwards? but still, no reason to flip them.

I've been getting occasional garage door operations from the Gravity occasionally for about 6 months... when it happens it is always the same scenario...
I come home and have to press a couple of times (the homelink in the car) to get the garage door to open. I drive into the garage. I get out and walk to the mailbox (on the street). Then I walk back to the car and as soon as I get close to the car it wakes up and immediately shuts the garage door. The only other scenario is when I have walked into the house (instead of the mailbox) and soon afterwards walked back towards the car, causing it to wake up and open/close the garage door.
Generally when I have issues with the homelink in the gravity it is at night time... if I turn off the outside LED lights on the house then it works fine... or I just mash the homelink button several times. None of our other cars have had this issue, so I think the homelink in the gravity is just weak by the time the signal gets outside the car.

This sounds like a bug to me. Have you reported this to swfeedback? What could be happening is your multiple rapid presses on the Homelink button is being stored in an input buffer and not being processed until much later.
A workaround is to be deliberate about each press, waiting between your presses to see if your garage door has received the signal. Also, have you tried getting closer to your garage door before pressing the Homelink button, in case your LED lights are causing interference?

I had this happen to me today, and it feels like a pretty weird HomeLink bug. And this is the first time it happened (ironically on the latest 3.6.4 software).
We came home and parked the Gravity in the garage. I used the garage icon on the Clearview Cockpit to open the garage door (I don’t remember whether I tapped it multiple times or whether it worked on the first tap).
After we went inside the house, I closed the garage door using the physical wall-mounted garage button.
About 10 minutes later, I heard the garage door opening seemingly by itself. I went back downstairs and closed it again using the wall-mounted garage button.
As far as I can tell, nothing else could have triggered the garage door — the only possible source was the Gravity/HomeLink.
I’m wondering if multiple taps on the HomeLink icon somehow queued or delayed an additional command that was transmitted several minutes later. Either way, having the garage door unexpectedly reopen after the vehicle has been parked for ~10 minutes is obviously concerning.
Happened to me 4 times already (started with 3.6.0, last time happened on 3.6.3). Every time it happened soon after the car got auto-unlocked. It would just open the garage door by itself (the last door that was opened). I was able to report 3 cases with times and stuff to SWFeedback. I hope they will be able to reproduce this and fix it. It's a bit concerning. I'm glad I get notifications when the garage door opens as once it happened when I was walking around the house with key fob in my pants. Looks like I was close enough for the car to unlock and open my garage.
Other than that my Homelink works pretty well, but a precise and firm button press is required to register the action.
