I’ve been getting "Defrost Unavailable” message on my Air Touring lately. Is it a serious issue? I live in Southern California
 
I got it soon after the last software update. Has not reappeared. I'm still waiting for drivers seat cover replacement. I'll make an appointment for both. Sorry couldn't be more helpful.

It likely means that your car's climate control system needs service.
 
If I remember correctly, there was a recall around defrost functionality awhile ago and that Lucid was remotely monitoring. You should put in a service request for this issue in the event that it falls under the recall vs a SW issue.

When I bought my AGT used earlier this year, I had the same error message. I called my local service center, and they sent a technician out to service the vehicle in my driveway. Needed a replacement water heater. Took a couple hours, covered by Lucid Maintenance. If I understand correctly, the issue only affected some vehicles and a software update was pushed to detect vehicles with faulty parts.



Hopefully that is all that is wrong with yours!
