Gravity UX 3.6.3 is rolling out

Installed 3.6.3 this week. Car definitely wakes up faster when I climb in; since 3.6 I've always had the black screen --> splash screen --> UI. I tried various long & short reboots with no luck, but now it is snappy, straight to UI.

I don't use the proximity locking so nothing there for me; the handle-poke works fine, just as it (99% mostly) always has.

I've just driven a few miles around town so not a lot to say -- except: it is very nice to be able to shift directly into R on the first try. Since 3.6 after multiple tries with no response I could only get there via a quick pop into D, then successfully we'd get into R. Which was annoying, if a bit comical, on such a fabulous vehicle.

I was recently driving a loaner GGT that had those exact issues (It was still on 3.6)
It was annoying
While my GGT was in Service they loaded 3.6.3 and thankfully it does not.
Glad to hear Lucid's SW is maturing

Somewhat trivial but hope Lucid is listening. 3.6 introduced a bug where the car keeps switching my music from USB 1 (where the drve actually is) to USB 2 basically everytime I get in the car and then back again. So when you get in the car it plays a fragment of last song then stops and you have to go select the other drive again. Sent to software folks but not corrected in 3.6.3. Seems easy fix since it was not a problem before 3.6. Only way I listen to music so a big deal to me. Also indicative of software development issues ... still.

I've been trying to figure out my best option for music ever since I found out the Gravity has no SXM antenna, and that the car's internal internet signal is inconsistent. Android Auto provides a much more consistent signal via the phone, but it still has dead spots on road trips. I played with Spotify and Pandora, which were OK but still dependent on internet. I was holding off on paying for a service in order to do a bunch of downloads to get through the dead zones, ultimately deciding on YouTube Music via AA. YouTube Premium includes YouTube Music and has the added benefit of ad-free YouTube videos (which is the main reason I was thinking about it since I watch quite a bit of YouTube).

Anyway, I'm really liking YouTube Music, and it's interface thru AA. It does a good job of creating "radio" stations based on my liked songs, and it's an easy one-touch like button on the AA screen in the car to add to my library. And I can set it where all liked songs automatically download to my phone so I have a large downloaded library to switch to when hitting a dead zone. I know other services have similar features in their paid subscriptions, but YouTube has the dual benefit of ad-free videos, so it won out. It's pretty much solved my music content frustrations in the Gravity (when I want live content like news & sports, I stream that thru AA, usually with SXM using our other car's subscription).

I'm also a fan of YouTube music. And I make heavy use of its offline downloads, so we can play music from my tablet when we're off the grid. And not having to watch ads on YouTube videos is great. Life's too short to waste time watching ads!

I ended up subscribing to YouTube premium lite because watching videos with ads has become almost unbearable, way too many and too long. Like watching an OOS video with ads pretty much requires you to take a day off from work 😂

Youtube Music is available as a native app for AAOS/GAS cars. We can hope that Lucid deems to add it to their vehicles some day.

We can dream but given that it sounds like it requires Google to actually create the custom version for the Lucid UI, I'm struggling to have much hope that it will happen any time soon.

I haven’t noticed any changes. I stream music via CarPlay and then select the AirPlay icon to switch back to the Lucid nav.
Yes, interesting, it seems to be back to normal now. Not sure why it was acting that way right after the upgrade!

Can someone confirm if they have this issue in their Gravity - my saved position for the steering is low, so with Easy Entry/Exit enabled the steering moves up while the seat moves back during Exit, but steering never comes back down during Entry while the seat moves forward as expected. I have to go to steering screen and hit Restore prior to driving every time, no exceptions.
It used to work correctly in some previous software release and got broken, but I'm not sure if it broke in latest 3.6.3 or earlier, maybe in 3.6.0.

Also, prior to 3.6.0 my rear hatch opened perfectly, while frunk had the common issue many others have reported. In 3.6.0 Lucid changed the timing of the latch/motor sequence and frunk started working perfectly, but the rear is all messed up now. Maybe a coincidence and my rear gate lost alignment somehow, but I'd rather blame the software until proven otherwise.
Anyone else noted their rear gate opening issues in latest releases?

I haven't seen anyone else mention it. There have however been several posters that had to have the rear latch adjusted/re-aligned, etc.. and that was before these last two updates. 🤷‍♂️

I am in the same boat. My Gravity was with service for 3 weeks. They fixed face not seen issue but steering is not restored after reentry.

I think I watch YT more than D+ or NF so it was worth it to me as well

I was never a "hang the keys on a hook by the garage door" person before like my parents used to be, but I've resorted to doing that so I'm not constantly unlocking and relocking the cars every time I walk into the garage. I'm afraid I'm gonna wear the mirror motors out.
I started noticing that and I have rooms above the garage so I'm wondering if the car is waking up when I'm above the car. Maybe the proximity sensors are only lateral.

We took possesion on April 16th of our '26 GGT, Abyss Black, Platinum Appearance, 21” Front / 22" Rear Orion Platinum and all options. Last week the OTA update gave us 3.6.3. This Gravity has performed flawlessly from the start. 3.6.3 gave us hands-free driving, which is so cool. I've yet to try Adaptive Driving Beam, so I can't comment on that yet. All in all, this is the best car we have ever owned!

Since 3.6.3, I'm running about 90% now on timely door unlock and presenting the handles Out of roughly 20 walkups, I've had 2 that were delayed. One was about 10 seconds, the other almost 20.

Still not fully solved, but 90% is way batter than the 30% I was getting before.
My 90% last week has now slipped back to about 50%. 😔

Maybe it's time to take it in to service.
Or ask to borrow a second fob, and see if it is 100% as it should be.

When we get home from this 2-week road trip, I'm gonna send an email to Customer Care and see if they'll replace it. That was the plan if it didn't stay greatly improved through the trip.

Since I got 3.6.3 just days before our trip, I also replaced the fob battery (again) at the same time. I wanted my best chance of timely entry on the trip. But it may have given false hope that 3.6.3 actually improved it. Might have just been the new battery instead. I've tried holding the lock button for 5+ seconds few times to reset it as the release notes suggest. Haven't really noticed any difference. If it continues to degrade I'll put yet another battery in (I brought a few).

As usual, it always lets me in... eventually. Just annoying standing there for 5-20 seconds.

It does seem your fob is having problems, by why not just use the app or key card until you can have your fob repaired/replaced? Seems far less hassle. Sometimes I run out with just my phone on me and use my car just fine with it. I just pull it out as I'm walking to the car to get it open and/or ready.
