So a few weeks ago I noticed the Wawa down the street from started building chargers. I truly hoped it was an Ionna as I really like their network, fast speeds, and reasonable pricing.

Alas, a week ago the familiar white and red monoliths popped up and it was clear that I've been Musked by Elon yet again
However- at least it's a true V4 (no magic adapters tho) with 500w capabilities
That said- I still almost exclusively charge at home and would only use these in rare cases
If enough people want me to test the charge speeds at 10% I will run down my battery and give it go

@Cyp if you want to do a video on the location hit me up and I will buy you a coffee

How fast can an Air charge at a V4?

309 and stump rd? That's not very far from the existing location welsh and 202.

correct- which is why I didn't think it would be Tesla and maybe Ionna
Are you the one with the Air who parks at the community center during pickleball? lol

well if you see an aurora green gravity it's likely me

I haven't seen anyone test one but in theory they should get full speed, few m which will depend on the trim (ie battery size)

For example the fastest I've ever seen on my Touring is 262kw at an EA station.

The same as it can at any EA, EVGo, Ionna, Mercedes, rated at 350kW or above.

I just checked the price per kWh and it's not inviting at all unless you charge 12am to 8am.

like I said I'd use it only in rare conditions as I charge at home
but if you do DC charging only get the Tesla subscription at $13/mo (important to initiate charging with the app) and you get enough of a discount after two charges to pay for itself

WAWA focuses on big stations with lots of pumps and parking. They have large retail and food services. As part of their push to drive up sales in retail, they has a long term relationship with Tesla - most sites in Florida have it in process of getting the “full Monty” from Tesla. We own one (NNN) and have had Tesla three years ago, they are upgrading and expanding now.

And they also have relationship with ionna and EVgo
Sheetz has the same connections

I mean if all 8 arent working I assume they had to some sort of early corrections
not that I will ever apologize for Elon

I was going to drive a loaner 100 miles for a test…my personal vehicle gets 0 L2 charging and is severely throttled (60-70% max speed under 50% SOC).

I'm just a few miles from there (202 + 73) so I'll go check it out. Thanks for posting.
It's so nice having a home charger.
I only use the commercial chargers when I'm tripping, but some day I need to see if my Lucid can charge at the nazi network.
