Level 2 EV Charger at home, for Lucid Gravity Touring - Suggestions / Experience

Thank you. We are still waiting for the gravity to get back from the shop! They don’t seem to be able to calibrate the ADAS
system after replacing the passenger side mirror. Keeping our fingers crossed!

Are there any serious drawbacks to using the mobile charger as the permanent solution? We primarily drive short distances around town with the occasional 50mi travel. Got up to 60A going to a 240V ‘EV’ outlet (NEMA 12-40 I believe) and usually max out the 40A capacity of the mobile charger.

We’re in a northern Chicago suburb and garage will be well insulated along with a resistance heater for the brutal winter days.
I use the mobile charger e exclusively. As a matter of fact I have 3 of them.

1 is permanently my charger
1 is permanently my wife's charger for her GV60
1 is in my trunk as a just in case.

If you still plan to purchase one, I'd check your local utility website, most have rebates and subsidized ones for some brands. I use an old Juice Box that I got for free after a $500 rebate
