I was never able to get auto parking to work. It never finds a spot, no matter how obvious they can be.

My 2013 Ford Escape did parallel parking just fine. All my BMWs were excellent at that, for years.

Yes, but it is limited to only parking in spots where there are two vehicles on either side of it.
 
I think it does but it’s just extremely slow to find a spot. If you had someone behind you I can imagine they’d become very frustrated. Can park it yourself quicker.
 
Every since I upgraded to cccv2, my find the parking spot and park into it has worked near flawlessly...success rate of about 98% or so...even family noticed and kid loves the magic show

I never trust those, and too slow in every car I owned. Just park on your own. It’s safer and faster.
 
On my previous BMW iX, I used it mostly to confirm that car would fit. Its measuring was spot on. It parked on spots I would never have attempted myself. Since parallel parking is rare where I live, I seldom used it, but it was fun. It just worked.

BMW auto park works great. First time I tried it I was shocked.
 
As someone said above, it only works if there are cars on both sides of the space you’re trying to park in. Kind of crazy if you think about it, but that’s the state of it. To be honest, I don’t use it much as I’ve had some close calls where I felt the need to intervene. It’s not nearly as effective as Tesla’s.
 
Autopark on Tesla's newer HW4 cars is as quick as I can park these days. Never had an issue.

Same! I find it does a good but not great job.

No, it's just really slow to pick up a spot and it needs a car or car(s) next to an empty spot in order to work. I've found you need to go so slow it's not worth pissing off the person behind you and can park it quicker yourself.
 
I was able to get it to work. Once it finds a spot, and that's the main problem, it parks well. But it only confirmed it found the spot way after I crossed it. That would certainly piss anyone behind me.

I've had the same experience in my Air, although I've considered that some of this feeling may be psychological on my part. I'm on edge trusting the vehicle to handle it so maybe I'm hyper-aware of the time it takes. I also don't like the way it stresses the power steering.
