The knowledge gain from balancing off-road capability with good on-road ride handling and comfort would have a lot of application in their third to-be-announced midsize model (which I'm assuming will be the most off-road focused variants).
Even if it won't be extreme enough to take on the craziest difficult off-roading like the Dakar Rally, having sufficient off-road capability to go up a trail and reach a camp ground or generally non-paved areas could be good enough for Lucid to capture that kind of customer
