2025 Lucid Air Pure
Hi everyone,
I'm a bit confused and hoping someone can shed some light on this. Last week, I dropped off my 2025 Lucid Air Pure—which I bought brand new last June—for its first annual service. Today, the service center contacted me and stated that the bill will be $350.00.
I was under the impression that scheduled maintenance is complimentary for the first 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. Since I have only driven 5,850 miles since my purchase, I easily fit within both parameters to qualify for a no-charge service.
Has anyone else run into this issue, or is there a specific nuance to the complimentary maintenance program that I might be missing? I plan to call the service manager to clarify, but I wanted to check here first to see if this charge is standard or simply an administrative oversight.
Thanks in advance for any insights!

According to the website. Lucid Care with complimentary maintenance is included on all Lucids, leased or sold, after April 1, 2026. Prior to that, all of us pay for maintenance, $350 for year 1 and $550 for year 2.

So much for the early adopters. 😂

It was also briefly offered end of 2024 - beginning of 2025. I missed out by a few months.

I paid $350 for the 1 year maintenance on my 2025 model. I was under no impression that this maintenance cost would be covered, although my service advisor took time to ensure that it wasn't covered - implying that this is a common scenario.

If you've got this in writing then it should be a simple matter for service to sort out for you.

Hi all.
Shocked by the bill for my 2025 Air’s first service. $1125.00 plus applicable tax, of which $775.00 was for ‘Coolant Flush Procedure’? I was not informed that would be done, let alone that it would cost that much. I looked at Lucid’s available maintenance information, and it is not listed in the routine 1 year service maintenance schedule I found. Coolant related service appears to occur much later in the vehicle’s life under normal conditions, not in a car that is 13 months old with less than 6000 miles on it. Calls to the Riviera Beach service center go to their voice mail and messages I leave to call me back are ignored. Not wowed… anyone experienced this?

AFAIK the coolant flush was a TSB or TSC item that Lucid should've paid for. There was an issue with an incorrect coolant being installed in some cars at the factory.

Not correct. Go back and talk to the service manager and ask him to explain the charge. As @DeaneG pointed out, if this was a factory service recall, you should not have been charged. It is not a part of the yearly maintenance and should have been disclosed ahead of time if they were expecting payment. Most likely a mistake that they will correct...

100% . It was just done to my car at no cost. They should have sent a Docusign authorizing service with estimated cost prior to service as well.

Thank you! You’re all correct… finally got a call from the Service Center explaining what happened. The coolant flush is something that is being done to certain cars, but it’s covered under warrantee. They admitted it was an error on their end and sent me an adjusted invoice. Thanks again for all the support from awesome members of this forum… 👍
