I’ve seen the work of a few members contributing to use of the Lucid API for things like LucidTracker and HA integrations. As a former Model 3 owner, I had done a bit of work on interfacing with the vehicles CAN to read data, and did some testing with my own integration of an ECUMaster ADU as well as market options like Teslogic, Ingenext.

Any forum members here trying to interface with the vehicles CANs or want to collaborate?
 
As someone who has blown out safety airbags in Lexus and Mercedes while trying to implement integration modules between air pods and the cars infotainment systems while on those CAN buses...I request you to be very careful!

I didn’t know Lucid did much with CAN bus. I thought most messaging traffic was through the Ethernet ring.
 
Indeed, most messaging is over Ethernet. There are only some edge peripherals connected via CAN. Note the trunk diagnostic port also requires authentication. It’s “automotive Ethernet” internally too, not the regular Ethernet you use in your home, so you need a transceiver and an annoying to acquire cable to hook up to it.
 
Well Ethernet does somewhat kill this then, but interests me even more from an architecture standpoint.
 
You can MITM the service port and take it in to service. You would need to create a custom harness and find a way to hide your device. If you get caught, there may be consequences.
