Update on Our Next OTA Release (post-3.6.0)

Top of wishlist:
3rd row AC control (I believe this is coming in 3.6.2)
Netflix and other streaming video options both in the front of the vehicle and on the rear screen for littles when driving.

Yeah someone had asked about the air on this thread so just provided the info I had, no idea on gravity updates, I never asked during my convo, I probably should have haha
 
At the Charlotte Lucid Owners Club Event the software lead I spoke to mentioned 3.6.3 for Gravity being pushed out soon and that there would be one more big update planned for this year. From the discussion it sounded like point-to-point driving would be separate from that.

I am also waiting for this Driver awareness problem to go away! This has made my last 4 weeks since updating to 3.6.0 painful.. @marqie i really hope the sw update fixes this. :) looking forward to getting the sw update.

Video streaming would probably require a monthly subscription to pay for all the data it would use

I would appreciate if you could check for me if we are going to get hands free driving in middle east KSA/UAE or it is just an air dream :)
 
The 4 stages of Lucid customers:
1) They need to announce as soon as possible!
2) Why is it taking so long for production cars to be available?
3) Why did they ship this before it was ready?
4) What's next?
 
Good to hear. Hoping this one does something to eliminate the 5-20 second fob delay that some of us are still experiencing. I'm pretty convinced it something on the car side, not the fob itself. Pressing the door handle doesn't matter. Shaking the fob doesn't matter. New battery doesn't matter. Wiping the coating off the battery doesn't matter. Updating the fob software doesn't matter. The fob always works to unlock the door - eventually - which wouldn't be happening if those were failure points. It's like the car is only scanning for a fob signal every 30 seconds. And when you enter range within that 30-second window determines how much time you have to wait for the next scan to come around again.

Sorry, I've forgotten: does pressing the door handle in immediately wake and unlock the car?
I do this if the door handle isn't already extended by the time I walk up to it.
 
Will there be new features for overseas driving assistant? like 5 lane/lane change assist, autocrat parallel, vertical, diagonal?

No, it doesn't (as I listed there). What I did forgot to list though is pressing the unlock button on the fob. It doesn't do anything either. Nothing works until the car finally "wakes up" to scan for the fob somewhere within 20 seconds (or already did when I got close enough). Then it just randomly kicks in and unlocks & presents all the handles (including unlocking the charge port door that I hear first about 1/2 second before the door handles present). When it finally kicks in, it all kicks in fine.

This is the case regardless of shaking anything or pressing anything. In fact often I just walk up and stand like a statue now because literally none of the other things make a difference (I've tried dozens of times). It always unlocks - eventually - it just does it on it's own time. Sometimes just before I get to the door (like it should), sometimes 3 seconds late, sometimes 7, sometimes 12, sometimes 20. Never more than about 20 though. As I described, it's as though it's only looking for the fob signal every 30 seconds.

In rare cases it does unlock right after I press the fob unlock button or press the door handle, but after hundreds of data points I'm convinced those few rare cases are just coincidental timing. After standing there for 10 seconds already, I know it's going to randomly unlock somewhere in the next 10 seconds. Might be the 11th second, might be the 12th, 13th, etc. I'm bound to hit a button right as it's about to finally open on it's own a few times, purely coincidentally. I've learned to dismiss those rare few times as coincidence, not causation.

That is really strange.
 
Maybe one more for the wishlist while I’m at it - remembering settings for regen braking. My wife both like em off and we sometimes forget and it can be a bit jarring.
