2025 Lucid Air
I currently have a 2025 Lucid Air ($10,500 miles) and am wanting to get out of my lease. Not sure if it is possible for someone to take over the lease ($704 per month) or is willing to pay off the balance ($49K). Is it possible for someone to take over payments on the lease? June of 2028 is when the lease is up

Lucid leases aren't assignable / transferable like BMW or other brands. Any specific reason that you are trying to get out?

OOS Spec Dave (youtube EV Channel) did mention he knew how to do it and negotiated an out with their Porsche Macan to transfer it. You can pay a hefty fee to get out early I believe but it should be all in the paperwork....

Ok good to know. Thank you. Trying to cut back on expenses. I work from home and don't drive much anymore

guessing your best bet is to get a payoff figure and see what you can sell it for and whether or not it is worth taking the hit

i wanted to do this with my ev9 lease but Hyundai is very strict on it. Lucid (read: BofA) might be very strict as well. It will usually say it explicitly in the lease agreement whether you can have someone take over the loan.
