July 1, my 23 AT gave me the yellow Drive System Warning ⚠️.

I was able to drive it home after work, and did a little test drive, and even drove it to the grocery store 2 nights ago.

I received the update to my phone last night, and went to set the update to process. I had 252 miles remaining (don't know the battery %) but well over the 20% minimum.

Came home after work this afternoon and the car is dead. Can't access through keycard or app.

Been calling Houston Lucid Service center all week, but can't even get an appointment for Dallas service.

Help?!

Why did you drive it with a drive system error? You should have it towed to the nearest service center.

To be fair, I would think any sort of system fault should cause a pre-check for a software update to fail.

But at the same time, really bad idea to ignore the fault and attempt the update. No support on Sundays so don't expect anything until next week.

I received the same warning and Service told me to keep driving until my appointment some 6 weeks later. So one doesn’t really know how serious the issue is with these fleeting warnings.

Valid.

My thought was the update may reset whatever was triggering the fault. Clearly not correct.

I assume you tried a hard reset, on the off chance that it's just the display screens that are not coming up? I had that once on my Gravity.

I can't get into the car.
Accessed the 12v cables behind the rear passenger wheel.
I tried 2 of my jump starters, old school jumper cables, had a towing company come out and try 2 of their own jump starters to see if they could get anything going..no luck.

2 of the 3 screens would come on (2 side screens came on) but still not enough juice to get the doors to unlock.

So I'm guessing this will have to go to Lucid in Houston (I'm in Dallas).

We had this happen to our 22 GT. During the update, one of the gates stayed open or closed (can't remember which). This switch/gate required jumping the car to get the systems to toggle it back to the correct state.

Could be the same situation as you, or maybe it is different. Given jumping didn't get the car going enough, it'll have to be towed.

Ever since 2.10 update, I am getting drive system warning message. Tried logo reset and break + Mic + X no luck. Looked for an appointment into Tysons none available. Called them no answer. I will keep calling. Should I drive the car or leave it parked?

Lucid added that warning to certain vehicles with 2.10 that they detect will need the motor replaced. Call service for sure. My understanding is you can drive it but it may fail at any time.

Thank you for the information. I will try calling all day tomorrow

Just received a message from the Houston service center and apparently there is an imbalance in my battery pack and will require replacing it with a new one.

Estimates are minimum 4-5 weeks but I'm bracing myself for at least 8 weeks.

Hoping to receive a Lucid loaner by Friday.

Which trim and year?
