Lucid Owner Session

I signed up for San Diego.

Folks - please share any insights you can. I would have loved to make the 260-mile trip to the Houston location, but I have a packed honey-do list and don’t want to be divorced.

I signed up for the one on Houston TX for this Saturday.
Hopefully they have some answers as to why nobody ever picks up the phone or even returns the call when you leave a message, or will at least acknowledge that they are aware of the issue and that there's solid plans in place to address them!!

Were only certain folks invited to this? Perhaps my wife got this and neglected to let me know :(

When I asked this in-person a month or so ago the answer I got was that there are not enough trained techs, they're handling several neighboring states and that when the Dallas Service Center opens up, they should free up a lot. No word on when Dallas will open up.

Techs are one thing, but you don't need a trained tech to answer phones and call customers.

No new insights, at least for Lucid Air owners. I was hoping for a better approximation for the arrival of UX3 on the Air, but still the operative word is “soon.”

I’m at the Costa Mesa location now, nothing going on other than some food and coffee, etc.

I visited the Natick location this morning. It was low-key but pleasant - a leisurely chat with folks from the sales team and service team. A good opportunity for discussion without the usual workday pressures.

Anybody else get an invite to a Lucid Owner Session this weekend? The email says they'll have a hands-on walkthrough of new software features and vehicle settings, could be interesting!

I RSVP'd for the KoP center, if anyone else from the forum will be there it would be fun to say hi.
Just now hearing this. Is it today ?

So nothing new at all? Anything worth sharing with those or use who couldn’t make it?

I went to Rocklin and nothing is going on other than food, it’s waste of time driving

I went to the one in Rutherford, New Jersey. They had some food out and the sales folk were there to chat with you. But there were no revelations and it didn’t really seem that there was an organized program. It was pleasant, but I don’t think anybody has to feel bad if they missed it.

At Houston, like others are sharing, it was just some food laid out and coffee and random chances to meet Lucid staff. I met one of the techs and mentioned my wheel well's missing fastener and he right away got it fixed..! Super appreciate the fast support. Spoke to the service manager and he mentioned that in October the Dallas service center should come online which after a month or so should allow more service appointments to be available. Also, no insights on when UX 3.0 for airs is supposed to come out. Also probe a bit on the new Cosmos and they said October we should hear more.

All in all pretty low key event but appreciate the service I got.

The wife and I also test drove a Gravity and what an amazing vehicle! Fantastic drive quality, interiors and SOFTWARE! The gravity software made getting back into my 2023 Air Touring feel positively old....wife is now not considering a R2 anymore and firmly wants to wait to see a Lucid crossover come out which is great.

Happy to answer more queries if any...

I asked and they said they're short handed pretty much at all departments but improving as the new CEO is focused on service and customer care. We will just have to wait n see...

After the Houston event we decided to go to Heights for lunch where I came across an entire fleet of Nuro+Lucid+Uber vehicles...adding some photos I took...also saw some cars moving around autonomously and it was so cool to see...

Sounds like a PR thing to pacify the discontent about SW problems. But no real substance viz-a-viz, ID SW problems and action plans.

Curious if west coast folks got any more insights
