Gravity
I am having some issues with my Gravity and wanting to do a hard reset to see if that fixes things. I am holding down the X and microphone while depressing the brake. Waiting the required time but the car will not reset. Nothing happens when I do that. Is there an alternate way to reset the car, as that’s not working any longer? Thanks.

Make sure you are pressing the brake pedal first while in Park before pressing the buttons

Also please check if you have the primary driver profile selected.
In my experience, it does not work for secondary drivers.

Hey guys - thanks for this input. I have the primary profile up and I am engaging the proper buttons as per the directions. I talked to Customer Service and they cannot figure out the problem, too. Kinda interesting that there isn't an alternate way to do a hard reboot and have no idea what to do now.

exit the vehicle, lock it, and walk away with all keys out of range so the car can sleep. after several minutes, return to the vehicle and try to reboot again.

Lucid had me try this, too. Still won’t work. When I had the Air I could hold both pinwheels down with the brake or depress the Lucid logo on the middle screen. I don’t think you can do that on the Gravity.

When they had me do the hard reset, it was holding it for 40 - 50 seconds until you hear a couple sounds then release

This may sound dumb, but make sure to press in the center of the X and Mic buttons

Weird. Yeah brakes first, and then I always do X first and then mic just after, and hold for at least 20 seconds or longer. Ignore any prompts that may come up on any of the screens in the meantime. And yes make sure you're pressing in the middle of the buttons, I always make sure I use the fattest part of my thumbs as if I'm trying to make a big fingerprint. The buttons don't always register if you don't press them correctly.

I really wish they'd put a simple reboot option in the settings menu somewhere. Lucid is certainly not the only manufacturer guilty of having users perform these radical maneuvers just to trigger a reboot.

I too was unable to reset my 2026 GGT, regardless of how long or where I pressed the x/mic/brake buttons. There are lots of threads on here where owners had to have service replace the steering wheel to fix this and it's possible @Steve's Lucid might need that as well. Mine's in the SC now so we'll see if that's the deal on my GGT.
