Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my recent tire replacement experience in case it helps anyone here save some money. I might be late to the party on this, but I honestly didn't realize how this worked and it saved me a huge chunk of change!

I have a 2024 Air Pure RWD on the 19" wheels. At just 19,576 miles, two of my tires were fully worn out, and the other two were down to 5/32" tread. It was last rotated during 1 year service and mobile tech brought it to my attention during the 2 year service. My original plan was to head over to Costco and just switch to a completely different brand.

Instead, I decided to go to Discount Tire and stick with the brand, getting a new set of four Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 NCS Elect tires (245/45 R19). To my surprise, Discount Tire processed a manufacturer mileage warranty adjustment for all 4 tires!

Here is how the math worked out on my receipt:
Original price per tire: $291.00
Mileage warranty adjustment: -$177.07 per tire, totaling -$708.28 for all four
Tax adjustment: -$58.44
Total adjustment savings: -$766.72
With installation, taxes, and adding the Discount Tire replacement certificates (which were $58.50 each), my out-of-pocket total came to just $839.31. If I hadn't received the credit, the subtotal alone would have been $1,510.00.

I definitely wouldn't have received this specific Pirelli mileage credit if I had gone with my original plan to swap brands at Costco. I just wanted to raise some awareness—if your original Pirellis are wearing out prematurely, it is absolutely worth sticking with them and going to a shop like Discount Tire that will easily process the manufacturer's prorated mileage warranty for you.

Hope this helps someone else!

Didn’t they stipulate you needed to rotate tires every 5000 miles?

I thought every 10k miles and I did that through Lucid mobile service. This did not come up.

Hmm. I wonder if this would still apply to my 2023 AWD Pure? I'm down to 5/32nds and 7/32nds on mine (just recently rotated). I'm at 22,532 miles

WOW! I just googled and found out the warranty is for 6 years! Thank your for sharing this experience!

Here is what google search said:

"Treadwear Warranty: 6 years or up to 50,000 miles.
