Trip Reading vs. Battery Indicator

Lucid Air Brothers and Sisters,

I’m a month in on my 2024 Air Touring. Love it! I am in the phase where I’m trying to drive it as efficiently as possible. I gave it a charge this morning to 319 miles, and took it out for a drive. Before leaving, I reset Trip A. When the Trip A indicator reached 1 mile, my Battery Indicator read 315 miles. That’s a 4 mile difference. The further I drove, the difference increased. I know about the “Since Last Charge Tax” Is there a reason for this difference in mileage measures?

one is Dynamic (based on real world driving) one is EPA Estimate. All EV's have some version of it. BMW has a graph that shows Worst Possible, Current, and Best Possible. Tesla shows a graph that looks like a toy showing "better than estimated!!" Lucid just keeps it simple.
