Air software version 2.10.0

Update said it would take an hour and it took 50 minutes, so pretty close. This was on cellular as WiFi breaks my car so I keep it turned off. Not planning to drive tonight so I'll report back tomorrow if I detect any issues.

Fwiw I was on 2.9.3 before getting this update.

Release Details
Updated consent and data privacy experience
You now have greater control over data privacy with the option to disable location sharing, while features that use data remain active.
Note: When location sharing is turned off, features that rely on location information will be unavailable.

Enhanced safety notifications
Refined seat belt visuals deliver clearer, intuitive status cues, making it easier to confirm occupant safety at a glance.

Camera experience refinements
Manually opening the camera view in your vehicle is now reliable and Consistent.

Smart Energy improvements
Your current limiter preterences remain reliably preserved, ensuring a consistent charging experience.

Drive Unit Service Notification update
We have enhanced in-vehicle monitoring to detect conditions that may affect drive unit performance. If a relevant condition is identified, you will receive a Schedule Service Immediately notification advising you to arrange service as soon as possible. Prompt action is important to help prevent potential loss of drive power. While this update was initially developed for specific configurations, the detection logic has been extended to additional vehicles to provide broader protection and earlier identification of potential issues.

…so… is this a problem then in more than the Pures? Or more configurations of the Pure?

No idea. Maybe it's related to the half shaft recall, because my car is subject to that one.

And the typo is from using the screenshot text selection on Android. I can't find any way to pull up the notes in a browser so that's the best I could do, short of retyping the entire thing

Ah ok cool. I guess we can just assume it’s related to whatever series it’s released for
 
Here's what it looks like now when you put the car into drive without your seatbelt on. Instead of the picture of the seats on the left side, you get this on the right side of the center screen

I accidentally posted a new thread on this without realizing that this one had been started already. But yes, I just got the update this morning getting into the car. It seems to be a lot of backend stuff. I also have a pure. 2025.

That is ugly compared to the current iteration IMO
 
I wonder if it's in addition to the old visual, but I agree that it's pretty utt-buggley. Kind of like an electronic Post-It note slapped on.

Nope, the left side picture did not show up. I just got the new icons on the right side
 
Getting ready to hit the road for a time-critical trip next week, and I think I'll hold off on this one until we return. Otherwise, I could picture getting a bunch of Drive System Fault notifications en route, and stressing over what is real, and what is just an update-related bug.

Given all the Drive System challenges they had with 2.9.x with Pure's I'm wondering if they're releasing it to them first before opening up to the Tourings and GT's. Certainly there's more in this release that would mean it will eventually go to them.

I don't care who does it, and it should certainly not be just to the forum. It should be handled via an email release to the installed base, or the subset of the installed base that the update applies to. I published a detailed process on how this should work many months ago, but all the old stuff seems to be lost in the ether.
 
And here I am still rocking 2.8.30 (23 Air Touring). I haven't been offered 2.9.x either.
